I have small ears and have ALWAYS had a problem finding headphones that stay in my ears even with light activity such as casual walking, I'm always readjusting other earphones because as soon as they slip a little all of the sound quality vanishes and I have to put them back in my ears. When I saw these were made for people with smaller ears I had to give them a shot. Bluetooth works flawlessly so far, easy pairing. Sound quality is a 8.8/10. They aren't $200 headphones so no, they aren't a 10/10 on sound quality but the sound is round and extremely solid, like one expects from JBL products. I've always loved JBL but occasionally I buy a product of theirs I don't love for some reason OTHER than sound quality and that's not the case with these. These sound is great, good bass, good mids and good highs but don't expect the sound quality to blow you away, it's great sound, but not amazing. I would have been totally happy paying $80 for these, no doubt about it. Unfortunately this genius design (Twist & Lock or whatever they call it) for keeping your earphones in place isn't available on a "higher quality" earphone set that JBL offers so I was willing to buy the less expensive ones. I'm a big proponent of spending the money the first time when you buy something like this and was expecting to spend roughly $125 - $175 for a great pair that would last me a number of years but I could not be happier. PLUS they're only $50 bucks so I won't be upset if I ruin them somehow, win win! Buy these headphones, I promise you'll be happy with them.

I bought another model of wireless Inspire earbuds before this pair, but they were too bulky for my taste. Great, but...
19 March 2018

I bought these in late December of 2017 to use them for my upcoming half marathon and for general work-out use, as well as for my metronome (I am a music major, a percussionist, at that). So, I use these just about every day. They do feel great while working out, haven't fallen out while running, and produce sound clearly to me for use of a metronome (which is good because percussion instruments can be loud). But recently, within the past couple of weeks, they'll stop working and won't turn on or off, and they won't connect to my phone or computer. I have to plug them into a power source, hold the volume buttons to reset it (thanks, Google), and then continue whatever I'm doing. This is particularly frustrating because they haven't done this before in only my 3 months of ownership, and if I pause music or take a break from practicing for more than 10 seconds, they will do this, and I have to repeat said process AGAIN. So, in this regard (durability), I am highly dissatisfied. I used gift card money from Christmas to purchase these at Dick's Sporting Goods and would not necessarily like to waste another $50 for this to happen again.

If you loved the wired Yurbuds Inspire, get these
9 January 2017

I bought these on another site, but am sharing my review here in case it helps someone. I have been wearing the Yurbuds Inspire for Women wired earbuds for a few years. They were the only earbuds that I could keep in my (fairly small) ears and that were comfortable for running (especially when doing half-marathon training). Regular earbuds fell out, and most of the over-ear hook designs had hooks that were a little too big or were uncomfortable when wearing sunglasses or earwarming bands/earmuffs/hats in the cold. The first set of bluetooth Yurbuds (Leap) were so big and had such bad reviews that I never tried them. These, however, are the earbuds I've been waiting for for a couple of years! The earbud cover is slightly different than the original earbuds covers (same size, shape, feel, and fit-- there's just a really soft, flexible silicone tip added that isolate the sound a bit more), but if you liked the old ones better, you could switch them out easily.Like most wireless earbuds, these have a battery in the middle of the wire that could become a problem if you let it just hang there. I clipped it to the back of my shirt (clip is already attached) while running several miles and rowing for a few more, though, and I didn't have any problems with the weight pulling on the earbuds or the earbuds falling out even once. Until someone comes up with a really good set of completely wireless bluetooth earbuds that stay in as well as these do, I'll be running with these earbuds for the forseeable future!

NOT like other yurbuds - do not buy!
28 November 2017

DO NOT BUY - The quality of these are far inferior to other Yurbuds. Do not waste your money for the wireless option! I had high hopes because I absolutely LOVE my wired yurbuds. But these are MUCH different. First off, the ear pieces are different (see in my picture). These have like a suction cup around them so they wedge deep into your ear and suction in, similar to other in ear headphones (except even deeper into the ear). This is disappointing for a few reasons: (1) the reason I love yurbuds is because they don't suction like that usually but are still very secure, so I can move with them while still being able to hear my surroundings; (2) They immediately gave me a pressure headache being wedged and suctioned that deep into the ear; and (3) other yurbud ... MoreDO NOT BUY - The quality of these are far inferior to other Yurbuds. More on point (3) above: I had an extra set of the original, non suctioning ear pieces in my size, so I figured I would just throw those on the wireless ones and call it a day. Boy was I wrong. The sound output is clearly designed for only the suctioning ear pieces. The non-suctioning ear pieces that I liked made the sound quality super chinsy just like when you listen to music from an earbud without actually putting in the ear (except this time they were in my ears and still sounded like that). And more on sound quality: After I decided I would just tolerate and hopefully get used to these suctioning ear pieces, I tried listening to songs I am very familiar with. The sound quality is AWFUL! If you care at all about the specifics of song's sound (eg, I do because I was going to use them to choreograph dances), then do not buy these! The high notes are completely lost and muffled making it sound like some weird bass notes in places there shouldn't be any. Down right awful. I imagine some songs don't have this issue, but the ones I listened to certainly did not sound correct at all. I was hoping to be able to wear these to easily move around and choreograph dances to music but between the awful pain that is caused by the ear buds and the awful sound quality, I can't see any world where that is possible with these headphones. On a slightly more positive note: the overall feel and weight of the headphones is good. The carrying bag is great, as always, and the clip seems very useful to keep the cord from swinging around. Unfortunately none of these positives outweigh the sound quality issue and the uncomfortable feel. I will be returning these immediately. I didn't even keep them long enough (only 1 day) to notice any of the issues others mention about battery issues or pairing issues. I imagine those problems are there too but I can't say for sure.

I have had these for a month and really tried to like/get used to them. The electronics of this product is in a heavy, large, attachment at the center of the wiring. This is so bulky and uncomfortable and it pulls on your ears and gets caught in your hair and clothing. When you are using your headphones and get a phone call, a high pitched, annoying beep goes off and there does not seem to be a way to temper this tone. The 2 sizes of ear buds that came with it did not fit me. So I went through the hassle of requesting smaller size be sent to be. It was a hassle because when I tried online chat customer support they told me that they only come in one size for that model but I told them that was ridiculous because 2 sizes are in the box. I tried the new ones which are smaller and a little better fit, however, the problems with the weight and placement of the electronics along with the high pitched "alarm" when a call comes in are unbearable. Also, the ear buds frequently fall off.

These are definitely worth buying

I just bought these yesterday, and so far, I am extremely impressed with the audio quality for music.I work in a very busy industrial environment, where there are a lot of machines working at the same time, The sound isolation in these earbuds, is pretty impressive as is the clarity of this headset. I'll admit this is the first time I've had this style of earbuds, ( I think they are called 'enhancers.'), so it took a little experimentation to get them properly oriented in my ears, but once I did, the sound was amazing! The isolation properties, when these are seated correctly in your ears, can rival over-the-ear closed-back headphones. I did have to switch to the larger pair of earbuds to fit in my ears properly so they wouldn't fall out, and that was a bit tricky, but I figured it out. They are pretty comfortable for a few hours, but after four hours, I had to take a break from them.So far, the only downside to this headset is the microphone if you wear it in the recommended behind the neck position, The person on the other end of the call told me I sounded very muffled until I took the wire and moved it to the front of my neck, then they could hear me better.Overall, I never thought an in-ear headset like this could sound this good so, if music is the main reason you buy these, and you are willing to take the time and get them situated in your ears correctly, you can't go wrong with these.

I have recently bought these earbuds having previously had "Yurbuds" which also adopt the "Twist Lock" technology and was very pleased. I bought these bluetooth earphones for use at the gym and running or other activities where a cord is just a hassle. With a quick flick through the instructions I was able to connect my phone to the already charged earphones within minutes and now that my phone and earphones are linked it is just a matter of turning them on, they are true to their "Never fall out" promise and even running, sweat, jumping or head banging to music could get them to fall out. I find myself listening to music while at the gym at around 75% volume and even at 100% volume which is ample, they don't leak out any noise so your secret love for Justin Bieber ... MoreI have recently bought these earbuds having previously had "Yurbuds" which also adopt the "Twist Lock" technology and was very pleased. The bluetooth range is great and resulted in me leaving my phone on the treadmill on the other side of the gym and now just leave it in the locker without having to worry about the music cutting out. I am new and fairly bad at remembering to charge them but a quick spurt on the charger while getting ready for the gym is enough to to get them through the hour or so of use. The cord connecting the ear pieces together, I was interested more than skeptical to find out how it would feel and effect exercise but from running to lying down on the bench It is pretty much non existent. When using it on the phone Its easy to answer and end calls and when speaking clearly there is no problem with your bestie on the other end of the phone hearing about how your cardboard cut out of Justin Bieber finally arrived.

best headphones ever
18 August 2022

I'm purchasing these headphones after 6 yrs. I purchased them when they were first in a Wal-Mart store 6yrs ago and they've worked perfectly ever since. They've accidentally been in the washer and dryer inside the pocket of my pants of the 6yrs and never affected the sound. The best headphones I've ever had. After 6 years, my awesome headphones cracked a wire finally after 6yrs. I could hear sound out of my right earphone, but not my left unless I bent the left wire together. I can't wait to get this pair again.
