To be honest I wanted the Yamaha's, but they were going to take too long. So Collin recommended these and it may have been a blessing in disguise! They are SUPER light weight so setup is a breeze. They sound fantastic for the price. They are VERY loud....Just 2 of these filled a giant outdoor tent. For larger spaces I may add the sub later but for what I am using them for I don't need it yet. The big feature here for all you Karaoke DJs out there is the automatic feedback suppression. I often roam the crowd while a singer is up so its great to have the speaker eliminate any feedback that might occur while I am away from the mixer. And to be honest there has been very little feedback to begin with even with my cheaper mics (can't pass around the good stuff.) I can't ... First, let me say the ability to stream bluetooth to both speakers in phenomenal. Not sure what the problem was with the other review, but the power button, although different, isn't that much of a problem. The sound is of a 15" not a 12". Great bang for the buck!

Easy to set up, stable B/T connection, great sound for my purposes (practicing guitar to backing tracks). Power button is not well thought out and takes some getting used to--they don't explain in the manual that it only turns *on* the power, you cannot use it to power down (that happens automatically). Glad I got the bigger one, better bass response. And quick ship from B&H makes it even better!

If you like the Eons you will like these as well. THey have more power and have great low end. the BT is real easy to use, super easy to pair. I love the lightweight design, easy to pole mount. the bass boost is a great feature. the feedback seems decent, just remember to alwasys reset your feedback internal settings everytime you use it. its midrange tone seems to go higher when you increase the volume. it has plenty of power which enables it to be very versatile, can be a PA, monitor or practice speaker. for the price this speaker really gives you great performance and options.
Love how clear the vocals are. Easy connection to phone from Bluetooth. At first played music off streaming app and sound was horrible than played hi media files and sound was out standing. Would deff recommend getting a sub if your expectations are in your chest bass.. overall everything works as it should. Mahalo from Hawaii. Shipping was also sooner than expected
I bought this for an outdoor speaker to use with my Dj set-up for a small space party at retail location. It was loud and clear but no boom i put it on a stand for more range. It was clear but no bass in it at all. I hate the power/bluetooth buttons they are tricky to turn on off. i recommend for purchase but not at $499.99 It is overpriced in my opinion due to no thump on what u would expect from jBL.
Pros: I bought two of these Plug and play says it all really There’s good adjustments options on the back for bass and vocals or for just doing speeches. Easy mic plug in and go. You can link other speakers straight from the back with easy line out and Iv got them linked to two monitors. Iv got them plugged in to my decks in my studio with the XLR inputs. Iv used the Bluetooth and the sound is good and no lag. You can basically link two of these speakers together by Bluetooth and they work as left and right stereo then connect to your phone or any Bluetooth device and away you go. Small hall disco set upCons: Bluetooth to link two together can be a bit hard till you work it out. Needs more details in the instructions I YouTubed how to do it
Caveat Emptor. Good sound, ez to pair and stable bluetooth. But as other reviewers here and elsewhere have noted the spongy power button is this unit's weak link. Unit failed to power up after two weeks of light use; would not reset. Fortunately B&H made the return process very easy and efficient--5 stars to them. But there are better choices out there, ones that have *real* power switches: Mackie, Electro-Voice, etc. Stick with those.
Sounds great, BT is stable, but the power switch is poorly engineered-- it's not a hard on/off switch but a soft button that you hold down a couple secs before it powers up--when it feels like it. Once on, you can't turn it off via this button, it does so automatically, but of course the manual doesn't mention this. Look at other retailers and you will see reviews that mention this poorly-engineered power button. OR just get a unit with a real hard on/off power switch, and save yourself some audio angst.
Overall:One Word, Awesome.The JBL IRX112BT Are awesome. 24 inches tall, 27 pounds and 1300 watts and they definitely delivers. Sounds Amazing with a custom pro-grade system. I Love the built-In EQ presets the automictic feedback suppression lets you crank it up with confidence. The Bluetooth 5.0 is also nice audio streaming from any device. Believe me you won't be disappointed 12 inch woofer with a SPL 127 Lightweight design. Stop Hesitating from A DJ of over 30 years Experience.
