These are very comfortable headphones for a child. They easily connect to the device. They sit comfortably on the head. The sound is transmitted well. The set also included stickers. My daughter was happy to stick them on her headphones.

A really good product apart from the battery life. After only 6 months the headphones fail to charge. Charging light will stay on indefinitely, and when taken off the charger and turned on, the power on light flickers on for a few seconds and then turns off. Ive returned toTarget for a refund. Ive noticed numerous reviews with the Same problem discussed so obviously a design fault, which is a great shame as they are otherwise durable, sound good and work well before the battery dies prematurely. Would love someone from JBL to contact me to describe what has been learnt from the multiple feedback correspondence and whether the problem has been fixed as i would like to purchase another pair for my child if it has.

This is my second unit. The first time I had issue I contacted the support and a new unit was sent to me. Now I have the same problem once again. That is very frustrating to my daughter because she can't use it anymore. Before I realized the problem, she got annoyed that the connection was dropping all the name. I told her that she needs to charge the unity, after she said it was charging overnight, I realized that the charging issue was not a bad luck for the first unity. It seems a design flaw.I paired with much effort to my iPhone. When I played a song to test it, it played for about 5s and turned off. I tried 4 different cables to eliminate the possibility that the cable was defective. Too sad to see a JBL product malfunction like this, something unexpected ... MoreThis is my second unit. I love the features on the headphones, wireless so you have no worry of wires getting caught up. The way they fold up compactly. The sound limiting. The hidden charging hole. Unfortunately the build quality is not up to the same standard. I purchased them in July 2018 within 6 months they had stopped working. I contacted customer services and I cannot fault them I received a new set. Less than 6 months later the second set stopped working. Contacted customer services and again sent back for inspection and received a new set. This 3rd set lasted a bit longer at 9 months but was obviously out of warranty so didn’t bother contacting JBL. These are absolute garbage. Do not buy!I purchased two sets of these headphones for my children two years ago. One pair stopped working about four months ago, and the other pair stopped working a few weeks ago. Tried them in multiple devices to no avail. It should be noted that these were used very sparingly -- on a few road trips in the car, and occasionally to listen to music. They were used by older kids (ages 11 and 8) and there is no visible damage at all to the headphones or the cable. After calling JBL, they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do since the warranty is for one year only. They could offer me no troubleshooting tips and, since I'm in Canada, the discount they would typically provide for the purchase of new headphones was not ... MoreThese are absolute garbage. (We've now reverted back to the Maxell kids' headphones we were using before these.) I specifically purchased these JBL headphones because of the company's "reputation" for quality. Needless to say, it's obviously just good marketing and that's about it. Buyer beware! Do not purchase these headphones.

Pretty decent headphones. The orange and blue colors are bright and poppy in person. My son loves having a pair of headphones just for him and on sight he knew they're for kids. There are loads of stickers included in the box so now these cans are even more kid friendly.Sound is pretty good, not excellent but certainly good for the price range. Worked well for talk and music. I wasn't sure how useful quiet headphones would be but 85dB is louder than I thought! Apparently 85 is a safe volume too so a little peace of mind there. There is a microphone that was actually quite clear when tested in phone calls. As a receiver the headphones were a little muffled on the call though. The bluetooth has been flawless. Easy pairing with everything I've tried (android/ios/pc) and good range. I got whole house coverage with no chop or static (small house maybe 50 feet range tested but worked clearly from corner to corner through 1 floor). With the phone just inside the door I got about 30 ft outside through a wall before significant static. No complaints regarding battery life. I haven't actually made it through a full discharge yet so these could be excellent. The charging cable is a bit short (8.5"). Not an issue for me but if you're an Iphone family you might not have spare andriod cables lying around (usb micro B). The charging cable does not work for data transfer so you cannot access you phone through your computer with this cable. It charges fine though. Love seeing that JBL signature orange! All in all pretty good, definitely sized for a kids head but as a rather large headed adult (hat size 7.5) I can still wear them comfortably at the widest setting. 4 to 4.5 stars.

The JBL JR300BT are an all-around solid choice for children’s headphones. My initial reaction was that the headphones were well built with enough movement in the earpieces to prevent kids from easily breaking them. The colors are fun and my kids loved the stickers that they could use to make the headphones their own. Pairing the headphones was quick and easy and they quickly re-connect each time the headphones are turned on. The buttons are large and easy for kids to use and conveniently lack volume buttons so that kids can’t adjust it themselves. As I’ve come to expect from JBL, the sound experience was very good. The headphones are supposed to limit audio to 85dB and they did prevent me from achieving extreme levels, but the volume from my phone was still more than loud enough. I haven’t fully tested the battery yet, but life appears to allow many hours of happy listening and I was able to quickly charge them.Overall my kids love listening to music with these and they would enthusiastically recommend.

You know the best way to get your kids to appreciate great sound, get them using JBL products at a young age. JBL has always been one of my favorite audio choices, and it just won the heart of my 6 year old little girl.Lets start off with it was just fun for her to pull out of the box and set up. From the arrangement of stickers, to colors, it really allowed her to show her creativity and artistic side. For the parents job, connectivity to her devices was super easy, and the long battery life was a plus for the long road trip across state to keep her entertained watching a movie on her tablet. I also greatly appreciated how the headphones folded up for easy storage and travel. Lastly, I greatly appreciated that the volume level of these headphones was designed with children in mind. So many times I am worried that the volume will be so loud it will damage their hearing. The JBL JR300BT are set to be a perfect volume for children. As for my daughters opinions, she felt they were super light weight for her head. In the past we have used wireless headphones that we big a bulky. These made for a child, fit perfect. With an easy adjustable headband to find that perfect fit, to the super flexible over ear headphones, my daughter found them to be comfortable and and not too bulky. She clearly loved the crisp sound, and found it easy to control with the handy controls. Overall great product!

We purchased this for my kids chromebook, and it was continually having issues. The bluetooth function kept disconnecting, then powering down. When we contacted JBL they said it was a known problem. There was a not am easy way to do a factory reset, and thus the suggested remedy was to buy a new one. This was really disappointing that JBL would not stand behind their product or try to support their loyal customer. I chose to go with a PUROQuiet for my replacement. The replacement offers both BT and corded features for a JR headset. I would strongly advise against JBL if they won't support their products or their customers.

These are obviously smaller than normal headphones, are of course brightly colored, but something that I didn't realize, and wasn't mentioned anywhere on the product page, they come with stickers! Now, if you've got a 4 year old, you know just how fantastic stickers are. Within a few minutes we got everything all covered in smiley faces and other fun stickers all across the top of the headband. These cap volume somewhere that won't be too crazy for little ears, and they do that quite well. Even on the headphone's highest volume it's still pretty respectable and sounds good. My daughter absolutely loves them though, and didn't want to take them off for anything.Haven't run a full battery cycle on them yet, so I'll just mark that as 5 stars below, but they charge ... MoreThese are obviously smaller than normal headphones, are of course brightly colored, but something that I didn't realize, and wasn't mentioned anywhere on the product page, they come with stickers!
