Pros: Good sound quality. The ANC plus PNC is really good. Makes the world a whole lot quieter and I can hear my music loud without annoying anyone else.Cons: The app isn't great. When you lift the ear it pauses which is a cool feature until it does it every time you turn your head. It's too sensitive, but you can turn it off in the app.The alexa feature is broken. You can't turn it off in the app. Every time I try to turn it on it refuses to restart the headphones, and when I do it manually it's turned back on. Which means every time you touch or lean on the left side it spills some nonsense about alexa not being connected to you're device and interrupts the music. 3/5Audio - 4/5. These headphones sound great with improved bass compared to the previous generation. The noise cancelling system is effective enough to listen to anything at mid level regardless of outside noiseQuality - 4/5. They feel durable all around.Cons - I’ve been using these for two weeks. Work and gym. For some reason they added a feature that makes the audio pause at random times for no reason. There’s also a subtle rattling noise from both sides when I take them for a run. If it wasn’t for these two things they would be a great purchase. Saw them for $200, then $150, and now for $100. I wouldn’t pay more than 100 because of the inconvenient features.

There are several things to love about these headphones, but there is some room for improvement. They have a ton of features that make your listening experience more convenient like pausing what your listening to automatically when you remove them, settings for noise cancellation and ambient listening so you can hear your surroundings. Both of these modes work very well. I recommend downloading the app for a visual reference of the setting that are selected. Once you learn the noise cues for these settings, you won't need the app anymore. Of course loud, sudden noises won't be cancelled, but because they are also very comfortable, I am able to wear them while I sleep while others are watching TV. Of course loud, sudden noises won't be cancelled, but because they are also very comfortable, I am able to wear them while I sleep while others are watching TV. They also have a very long battery life and are fast-charging. They are able to connect to multiple devices simultaneously, but I've noticed that this will cause the audio to occasionally cut out which is a bit annoying. The built-in voice assistant (I use Alexa) can also be finicky. There could be a learning curve that I'm still getting over, but my commands don't always seem to register when using the Alexa. The sound quality is good but not incredible. If you're main focus is sound quality, you won't want Bluetooth headphones anyway.
For years I have used different JBL products which have some solid models. I let my son have the JBL Everest 700 headphones I used for quite some time. I figured I would be able to find a new pair easily that would have great quality and audio. Audio is very subjective to each person but for me these had just good quality through Highs, Mids, and okay Lows. I prefer balanced headphones and not the over marketed bass boosted headphones, to which even these could have had a little more oomph. Quick summary would be excellent build quality, audio felt like they had a great sound and put a filter on it to make it just good. I returned them but I am very picky. I would recommend these when they go on sale but not at the retail price.
I couldn't justify getting top of the range noise-cancelling headphones but I had used JBL phones before and knew that the sound was likely to be very good. It is, and with a bit of tweaking the levels on the app it can suit the types of music I listen to.The noise cancelling is nearly always good enough - on a bus or train for example it reduces the background noise very well, but not completely. I'm ok with that - I like to have some awareness of what's going on. What's odd, though, is that the cancelling seems directional. If I'm standing in a busy street I can change the amount of reduction by turning my head. I suppose that must be because of the way the nc microphones are placed. Not a big problem but if you're after perfection you have to pay more, it seems.
These headphones sound absolutly fantastic. The app EQ is very effective and makes them versatile. The bass is deep and rich while being super tight. One thing to know is that they tend to be bass heavy out of the box.I boosted the mids a bit to make the voice clearer and the sound is now perfectly balanced for me. I came from beats solo 3 and let me tell you the sound quality is not even comparable. I would rate the sound a 4.5/5.That said, there a 2 cons that i found on these cans. The clamping force is a bit tight for big heads. It doesn't make them uncomfortable by any means, but it certainly is noticeable. Second, the ANC works just OK. It blocks around 75% of the sound but you can still hear what is going on around you.Overall, these are well worth it and ... MoreThese headphones sound absolutly fantastic. Just be aware can get hot and sweaty after a while of wearing them if you are using it for active use so make sure you wipe it down so that you don't get anything in them.More Detailed Review Below:Durability: 5/5 These Headphones are very sturdy and will hold up well for your activelisteners. Helps Also they come with Carrying Case for the Gym! The ear muffs are leather and they are not plastic like and seem like they really put good work and quality in them I am impressed. The battery has lasted me for almost 5 days after full charge from using them at the gym and I work out for about 1 to 2 hours. So the standby time and active time cannot be beat after 10 hours of active time and over 5 days of standby time.Sound Quality 4/5 Sound is crisp can hear every instrument as well as your lows, mids and highs. Almost makes you feel like you are listening to your music in the studio or in person.Love the three features on the headphones where you can activate adaptive noie cancelling , have it off or even activate the headphones to have a clear conversation with anyone. One thing I will mention is be careful what app you use to listen to your music My Amazon Music with HD played louder and clearer than my Spotify. For a moment I was wondering why the music wasn't as loud and I discovered it was from that. Still wish the headphones could go a little louder in my opinion.Technologically Advanced 5/5: These headphones work for you and connect you in more ways than one. When first turning on I learned I can connect them thru the JBL App which allows me to set them up and keep them updated so its nice to know a company that provides update for their headphones meaning that even after a year they can have some of the same features and access as new ones release which helps with longevity of the headphones. I love the feature where whenever you take your headphones off it pauses the music and when you put them back on it plays again!Google Assistant is awesome on these headphones you can actually get access two ways. One by tapping your left headphone or activating voice recognition which just by saying Hey Google and say your command she does whatever you ask like send text message play music which means I don't even have to open my music app to listen to music or make a phone call. It does it for me from these Headphones that is awesome. You can of course with the buttons on the headphone itself pause music, skip/previous song, accept/hang up calls, pause calls and your normal volume up and down buttons which complete the easy accessibility and convenience these headphones provide.Value: Cannot beat the price for everything you get with these headphones and like I mentioned before the durability and build of the headphones itself to where they fit comfortably, the clear and crisp sound of the headphones and last but not least the JBL App and Features these provide will make you not have to replace your headphones for a while.Comfort: They fit well and are adjustable and the ear muffs can cover a wide variety of ears from small to big to which my ears were small and my big brothers were big and it fit both of us well. They also stay put well too to where if you do decide to do exercise they are not cumbersome and uncomfortable. Only thing I would say is they can get a little hot and can get sweaty when working out which is normal not alot of breathability when wearing them only thing that could bother someone. Honestly my days at the gym just got better and I might go more often since now I can listen to the JBL 660NC there and enjoy them and not worry about having to hear anyone or anything just the music unless I am taking a call of course.

You're supposed to swap them after some time, it's expected after one year of constant use. It's not a workout headphone, but it endured some sweat on hot days, and a few hours of skateboarding. As long as you don't work out with it constantly, it will be OK.If the cushions were either: a bit more resistent and the same price, or replacements were cheaper, it'd be a perfect 5/5Sound quality 3/5The sound is nice and thight when needed, but it's NOT a neutral headphone. It DO has quite some bass. I like a lot of bassy music so it's nice for me, but the bass hides a little of the higher pitch sounds (example: a rock/metal song, with the drums and guitars over the symbals. you can hear it, bit it's a bit, muffled). It's a everyday day-to-day headphones, so it's nice for movies, series, etc. NOT an audiophile headphones. Sound is not neutral (which for most people is a good thing), and it has no sound stage, but it's expected due to it being close back and has noise cancelling.Tech and gimmics 3/5It's ok and usefullYou can use it on cable, which is REALLY usefull and spares battery, reduces time response and overall quality, but you can't use bluetooth and charge it at the same time. the moment it charges, it gets turned off, and using it with the cable while charging sometimes has static sounds. it's not optimzed for charging and using at the same time. it also has a REALLY ANNOYING PROBLEM: whenever I plug the headphone jack in, it fits in ok, but when going back to bluetooth, it makes sounds from only ONE of the speakers, either left or right. you can fix it by pluging the headphone jack back in and turning the bluetooth on, THEN pulling it off after turning it on (I know you're thingking something dirty. get your mind off the guter). It's really annoying, and happens ALL THE TIME.Voice assisstents work fine, but it's kind of annoying to use. Sometimes you just want to fix the position on your head, and suddenly alexa or google turns on, and stops your music due to it being touch sensitive. The bluetooth microfone is not that good (which is expected from a wireless headphone), but the cable that comes with has an ok microfoneNoice cancelling is nice, and makes you feel like in a acoustic room, but it's not the best on windy places. it's not a workout headphone, so you're not supposed to use it on windy places, but it's noticable while going for a walk. it's a common issue on most active noise cancelling headphones. you're not supposed to hit the gym with these, but it's still noticable.Price 4/5It's nice for it's price. nice quality and nice sound with some quality of life features. if it wasn't for the problems mentioned it'd be a 5/5. The few hardware issues it has make it a bit annoying, but it's so durable and nicely built, it's worth itConfort 5/5I never sleep with headphones on, but this one is so comfy, it makes me sleepy sometimes. it's not very breatable, and it gets hot quickly, but the fabric is so soft, you keep them on your head just for how they feel. the most confortable headphone i've ever had. even after one year of constant everyday use, it's super confortabe
