A Great Set of Earbuds, Very Enjoyable

I really like thes JBL 215TWS earbuds. There are many reasons for this. First of all, they are lightweight and fit comfortably in my ears. Build quality is sold for both the earbuds and the case. I have had them in service listening to music for up to five hours, and still had a little more battery charge left.Button controls are easy to use and very responsive. I was able to get three full charges for the charging case before replenishing its battery. I also liked that, in a pinch, a fifteen-minute charge will give you about and hour of use. The sound quality is excellent. The rich bass is good but does not overwhelm the other frequencies. Mid-range and highs are clear and crisp. The latency is pretty bad with these earbuds when watching videos. I have found this issue to be true in other earbuds as well. They don’t have an on-board volume control, which some may miss. All in all a fine set of earbuds that I would not hesitate to recommend.

I wrestled with proper placement changing comfort tips back and forth…it was horrible. Frustrated I had to listen to the monitors in my studio to get the “bad taste” out of my ears. The next day I tried them again. After trying the three sizes of comfort tips I landed on the mid-sized ones, still not sounding that good. I tried adjusting the sound source equalization and was able to find a sweet spot. But I always test with the source audio flat. Without eq these buds still did not meet my expectations. The next day I was prepared to pan these buds as a bad offering but decided to give them one more chance by adjusting ear canal position. I found a good position and the buds started singing! In the proper position these buds sound pretty good. You can indeed “feel the bass”. Vocals and instruments are clear and precise, but the top end is still a bit “tinny” to me. The reason I gave a 4 star is the sound is not quite the JBL sound I expect. The case is cool. A great size to carry. The charging works flawlessly and the buds are held in magnetically so they are secure and in the proper position for charging.Confidence in these earbuds growing, I took them out in the work environment. They are surprisingly comfortable. I had no issue keeping them in my ears whilst preforming mild physical activity. The function buttons on the sides of the buds are actual buttons instead of touch sensors. I found them easy to answer a call and hang up without any accidental disconnects. Using only one bud is advantageous to keep one ear free while on a call.In the end these buds are pretty good. The sound is a little sharp at the high end but the buds are easy to listen to for extended periods with little fatigue. They fit well, are plenty loud and are very stylish. I must admit I wear them and look fantastic!

The JBL Tune 215TWS are a good pair of headphones but don't really stand out in any area. I really wish JBL would focus on making just 2-3 variants of really fantastic in-ear/true wireless earbuds rather than flooding the market with the 20+ that they have now. I'm not quite sure where the Tune 215TWS are supposed to excel, but even without excelling anywhere, they're good enough to be a go-to pair for work / casual listening. The Positives:Between the headphones and the case, the battery life is great. I've used these pretty regularly at work over the past month and have only had to charge about once a week/every other week. They're also quick to connect to my phone when I pull them out of the case, and I rarely have dropped connection issues. Audio quality is solid for the price point and I haven't gotten any complaints about mic issues when taking calls. The Negatives:The packaging had too much unnecessary plastic which we should all start fighting back against. The charging case is relatively compact and light, but the hinge for the top part feels flimsy and moves around slightly whether open or closed. You have to hold the buds to push the buttons on them without shoving the buds painfully into your ears. The buttons also do different things on the left and right buds which took some getting used to. The smallest silicone tips are the only ones that don't pop out of my ears every two minutes.

Great Sound, Excellent Mic - Highly Recommend
28 December 2021

Bought these on sale to be mainly used as a possible replacement of Plantronics wired headset with mic that I use for work. Whether connecting to my phone or computer, Bluetooth connectivity was flawless. When used to listen to either music or videos, the sound is great. When using for phone calls, the other party states they can hear me quite well - whether indoors our outside during a breezy day. And with the choice of earbuds and general design, I've found them to be quite comfortable. Other earbuds I've used became a bit "heavy" in the ear after a while that they needed constant readjustment in the ear. But not these.Lastly, features and operation is pretty easy and straightforward. The learning curve is not all that challenging. Great buds for the price if you love modern music.
24 March 2022

These earbuds are really designed with a singular purpose. Modern music. The positives are: The bass is quite impressive. The highs are very sharp and crystalline and the stereo image is fantastic which is a rare characteristic of earbuds. Price. The negatives are: The midrange is where these earbuds suffer. Classic albums really lack midrange. If you are able to EQ these earbuds on your mobile device, adding midrange does help, but they are really lacking that midrange punch. Because the highs are really sharp with these buds, the more classically mixed albums sound kind of shrill. One final issue I had with these, and it could just be my ear, but the left bud actually hurt with these in. I ran my finger down the bud to where the silicone tips meet up and the transition between the two is not smooth. I think that is what was causing the issue. The other bud had the same transition, but didn't hurt my right ear. So again, it could just be me.Listening to these with an audiophile ear, these would not be my preferred earbuds. However, if I were to take off the audiophile hat and only really listened to modern music. In addition to considering the price, these buds are hard to beat. I would recommend these to the younger crowd and subsequently ended up giving these to my daughter and she loves them.

Great choice on a budget

Been using these for a few weeks now.The Earbuds: The JBL Tune 215TWS brings an Apple’s AirPod inspired style, but only at fraction of the cost. But then there's some trade offs. (No wireless charging, no ANC, no IP-rating etc.)Power and charging: Charge the case by USB-C, a nice JBL-orange (short flat) cable is provided. It will provide you more batterylife than you can waste in a day, I've been using them almost non stop, sometimes putting them just in my desk or my pocket and sometimes in the case - never ran out of juice. Three lights on the case indicates battery status. The build quality and feel to the slightly "pebble shaped" case is really satisfying. Magnets in the lid and holding the buds works flawlessly.Sound: JBL means it should deliver bass, but ... MoreBeen using these for a few weeks now.The Earbuds: The JBL Tune 215TWS brings an Apple’s AirPod inspired style, but only at fraction of the cost. Three lights on the case indicates battery status. The build quality and feel to the slightly "pebble shaped" case is really satisfying. Magnets in the lid and holding the buds works flawlessly.Sound: JBL means it should deliver bass, but I can't say I'm impressed as the mid- and high range takes over a bit. Sure, there's bass, but the profile leaves a bit to wish for still. Maybe you can tinker with an app/equalizer to improve on the image, but I haven't.No ANC in those, and for the price I wouldn't expect it. But the snug fit does a good job keeping high pitch noise out.For phonecalls I feel the sound quality is superb, and the person in the other end has not heard too much from my noisy environment (car, plane and trains) and no echoes. When watching video I've noticed some lag in the sound, sometimes too much and too annoying to accept - not sure who to blame here - my Galaxy Note or the TWS...Controls: There are physical buttons here - no flimsy touch that does not respond, or does whaterver you did not intend to do... Great feature. So different commands depending on left or right earbud - but logical. And lately my pair started to loose connection (left one) - a tripple push on the buttons gets them searching and reconnect again, but still quite annoying to loose one.OVERALL: Those are really good earbuds - my over ear travelling headphones has been less used since I started trying these, and due to really good call quality these are actually preferred. And there's no need to use both as they have "dual connect"

Overall, the audio quality is great. Not a huge punch but they certainly do the job for everyday activities. No noise cancelling but again, for the price point they deliver on sound. I have used them for conference calls at work and while working from home. The voice calls are clear and I’ve had no issues in terms of my voice being heard. I put them further to the test by taking them on some runs and working around the house. Being lightweight, they don’t irritate my ears like some other in-ear models do while I’m moving around. Plus, they stay in firmly.Battery Life. Definitely a big bonus here. JBL claims up to 25 hours based on 5 hours on the earbuds and 15 hours from the case. After using them for a while I was able to get just about that. I wound up sticking them in the case well before they died out on me but they hold a charge well beyond my needs.Compact size and comfort. This set is really compact which I attribute to their simplicity and relatively limited features over some other more costly JBL sets. The case is also fairly compact and well made. Overall, both the case and buds have a durable feel. The controls are pretty basic and easy to use. There is a push button vs. touch senstative control on both buds which was a little bit tricky to get used to and requires a little more pressure. Minor complaint though, and again considering the price point, this wasn’t a huge negative for me.Comfort. I’m pretty senstative when it comes to in-ear headphones. Most brands wind up hurting my ears even after a few minutes. Like my other JBLs, these are comfortable and I have had no issues with my ears aching even after a few hours of use at a time.Final Verdict. Get them! But consider the price and what you need. They sound good, fit great, the battery life is good, and they feel pretty durable. Given the price point and durability compared to other brands in this range, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the JBL TUNE 215TWS model. If you want something with supercharged sound and features, you might want to consider some of JBL’s other models. However, if you don’t want to break the bank but need a good set, these could be just what you are looking for.I’m a huge fan of JBL. I shifted to them a long time ago for my audio needs after consistently being disappointed with other big-name brands. They never fail to deliver and their stuff lasts…

Packs a punch!
28 November 2021

I just recently bought these JBL 215TWS and I have to say it didn’t fail to impress. Right out of the box I noticed the solid build of the product. Ear phones made with quality material, doesn’t feel too light like it’s made of cheap plastic, sleek matte black all over makes for a listening experience with style. Silicon ear tips also well-made; reverts back to original shape even after hours of use. The right size tips will virtually make these disappear in your ears. Properly worn it will stay in place even during the longest jogging sessions. Now for the most important part: sound. These earphones packs a punch, bass is pronounced but doesn’t drown the rest of the song. Don’t expect soundstage, if you’ve owned JBL products in the past like I have it’s basically ... MoreI just recently bought these JBL 215TWS and I have to say it didn’t fail to impress. Don’t expect soundstage, if you’ve owned JBL products in the past like I have it’s basically that; like having JBL speakers in your ears where you can expect sound clarity and punchy bass that are delivered effortlessly. Offers quite an impressive sound isolation, helps you enjoy your tunes even outside (writing this review right now at a busy park with lots of vehicle traffic). Was able to use these for calling though I don’t really wear these for this purpose, clear mic reception and transmission. Very happy with purchase.

Solid everyday headphones for bass enthusiasts!
27 March 2022

The JBL Tune 215 TWS in ear headphones are a slightly larger than other ear buds I have used but still manage to fit well and are comfortable for hours of use. The headphones feel very durable and solid. They remain securely seated in my ears while moving around or lightly exercising. The overall sound is well balanced on the top end with a ton of bass that gives music a solid deep sound. I enjoy extremely bass heavy music and love the clarity and depth of the low end. These headphones really shine on any music where bass essential yet all types of music sound well. These headphones offer a decent amount of sound isolation and block out most ambient sound despite not having any active noise cancellation. As expected with modern Bluetooth devices, the headphones ... MoreThe JBL Tune 215 TWS in ear headphones are a slightly larger than other ear buds I have used but still manage to fit well and are comfortable for hours of use. One area that needs improvement is the physical push button on the headphones. The button requires a decent amount of force and is fairly painful on the ears when pressed. The controls the buttons offer are useful and straight forward but I tend to use the device I am connected to for control to avoid pressing the ear buds into my ears.Battery life is adequate and the headphones charge quickly in their case. I never ran out of power while using them. Calls were clear and the people on the other end could hear me well.Overall the JBL Tune 215 TWS are a nice everyday set of True Wireless earbuds.

BUY these if theyre under $50.only used several hours so far, but will use constantly and will update immediately if theres issues in near future. i expect 6 months from headphones, so will list issues within first 3-4 if there are any, but feels solid.sorry its 3 pages may reduce redundancies.
