I purchased these headphones today on October 14, 2022 and when I got home I immediately grabbed my Beats solo 3 and conducted a sound test. Quite frankly the only difference is that bests pack I little bit more of a punch and that's it. The sound quality I'd just as good. I did my test with various songs. The songs were Runaway - Aurora, Gang Signs - Freddie Gibbs, Glimpse of Us - Joji, Late Night Talking - Harry Styles, New Gold - Gorillaz, i - Kendrick Lamar and Ma Vie - Kidd Keo. And amongst all those songs I would sometimes get confused with which pair of headphones I had on my ears as the music was simultaneously playing from both sets of headphones. I would often think the Beats were over my ears when it was the JBL and vice versa. I saw another review saying these are good for the gym and I would prefer using a cheaper pair like these headphones than a more expensive one like Beats. The sweat will break down the ear cups eventually and you wouldn't want it to be a pair of headphones that cost you 6 times as much and sounds the exact same way. Excellent headphones, love the sound!

I just love these headphones! I have been the kind of guy that wireless earbuds don’t fit in my ears and hurt after a while. I have been a big JBL fan. I have one of their Bluetooth speakers and came across these headphones. First thoughts- Overall I really like the look of the headphones, a nice kind of matt black, nice squishy ear cushions, a little plasticky feeling but otherwise they feel pretty good for the price. Overall sound- The bass is pretty good for headphones and their products tend to have good bass so it’s not surprising. The heads would cancel out most of the plane engine sound on a higher volume not so much on a lower volume, I like my headphones to be able to cancel out the noise I feel like I’m in my own world. Overall these are great headphones, they sound nice and don’t hurt my head, and great for travel or just everyday use, there are some problems but not enough for me not to like them and recommend them to other people. Great headphones with a lasting charge

I ordered these JBL headphones a few weeks back for when I workout at the gym. So far I really like them. The charge life is great and last hours, they have not died on me but I do charge them every week. The adjustable size is perfect and they are not to big. They stay on my head for every workout and they do not smash my ears down so I do not have ear pain. Sometimes earbuds hurt my ears after 30 minutes to an hour but not these! I highly recommend these, JBL is a great brand. The only thing I would say is they are not sound proof so you could still hear things around you but I turn up the music and don’t mind the commotion around me. Another plus is they come with a charger!

Not the best

For context I got these as a christmas present, around five months ago. To start off they were really uncomfortable and hurt my ears for awhile. If you were them enough though it will stop hurting around two weeks after consistently wearing them, at least in my experience. If you are looking for noise cancelling headphones, I also wouldn’t get these since you can hear everything when you have them on. I made the mistake of using these on an airplane. Another thing that sucks is that they don’t come with a case. I usually only wear these at home, but there were occasions like being in an airport or at a crowded store where I’ve needed to wear these or bring them with me that having a case would’ve been useful. BUY THESE!!!!!! I bought these almost three years ago and never thought to leave a review until I accidentally left these in the POURING RAIN for over an hour while camping this summer. I was almost certain they were ruined and was quite upset as I use these pretty much daily. I let them sit out to dry and to my surprise, they still worked! There was absolutely NO damage! Beyond that, the battery life is amazing (takes about 40 mins to get to 100% and will last you hours and hours! I charge mine once every few days...), they dont hurt my head like the SONY noise cancelling headphones or the Apple Airpod Max, and the audio quality is great.
