The battery on these things is obscenely good. You'll easily get the 50hours advertised if not more. It feels well made and has survived being thrown in my backpack every day for the last few weeks without any harm.The sound quality is great for a casual music listener or as an entry level headphone for people wanting to get into music more seriously, but wouldn't be quite there for a professional or expert hobbyist as you do lose some of the finer details. Performs as well as Sennheisers in the $200-$300 bracket IMO, so well worth the buy.

The selling points: the headphones sound great and their battery life is incredible.After a week with the headphones, I've found there are three main issues.- Even fully extended, the headband is too narrow. Even a normal-sized head won't be comfortable with it on worn over long periods. Not recommended for anyone with a large head.- The charging cable is just 20 cm, which won't work with many setups.- The volume buttons on the headset don't work sometimes, for unclear reasons.

"Falling" and "This is Heresy" will always reveal poor equipment, as the heavy bass will cause distortion in sub-par devices. I detected no distortion. Portishead's "Dummy" album also sounded excellent.The tuning is neutral, lyrics are clear and the sound is detailed.So far, I dislike only two things:1. I received these earphones as a gift. So, far I like them very well. The sound quality is great, and the wireless Bluetooth feature a good feature for me. The 710BT is to replace the 610BT(?) on-the-ear type headphones. I did like the 610BTs as they worked well too, but the ear cups and head band pad fell apart so fast. In about 6-months, the soft earcups of the 610BT just shredded and fell apart with just normal use.The 710BT ear cup material feels like thicker and sturdier material and they still feel comfortable to wear. My hope is that the new 710BT will last longer than 6-months.

After 2 months of use..

I got these in June and they are awesome for price! They connect easily, can ware for 4hrs+ with out them hurting, and audio is good! Bass can be better.Some weird things I’ve encountered are my headphones popping one time when I immediately listened in the highest volume. I was a little worried but once I lowered it, it was back to normal and it never happened again.Also appearance, if you have a smaller head they will look huge and likely too big. It your head is mid-larger size (I am 18) it fits well! Although it will make your head still look a little bitter and more U shaped at the top rather O shape. Still super comfortable. Worth it.

I often have problems with headphones that the ear covers are on the larger size, and does not fit however I do not have that problem with these. They do not sit to tight on the head, they comfortably tight, and the cushions are soft enough to be comfortable but still seal tight against the head. They also have a cushion on the top of the head which is nice.Sometimes I wear glasses, and then the 710bt does not fit that well, they push the glasses forward and the cushions does not seal around the frames.Sound: The sound is good, but lacks a bit of deep bass. The middle and higher end is working well. There is no creaking sound which I have encountered on other headphones.

So listen to music while working is a big part for me. I tried it also on my PC with a longer AUX Cable and compared it with my Hyper X Cloud Gaming Headphones and I would recommend the JBL because the Soundquality is great!

The charging port is in a quite unusual place that is somewhat irritating to get to, and plugging it in is very finicky as you need to have it plugged in juuuuust the right for it charge, and if you bump it you have to adjust it again.Comfort: a lot of people think these headphones are very tight, and they are correct. But honestly I think it's a feature. I move around a lot and also lay down with them. With previous headphones, they would either fall off or activate their touch controls, but the 710s do neither. Not impressed in the least!

I just opened the box and charged these headphones up. The sound quality reminds me of AM radios in the 1970s. I hear people talking about the bass on these, but it is non-existent on these headphones (or at least the pair I have). The treble is WAY too high, so it sounds like someone is just hammering on a high-hat cymbal during the songs. Also, NONE of the buttons work. The on/off button has no effect. The volume up/down buttons do nothing. The Quick Start guide included in the box is worthless, and I can't find any online manual to see if I have some settings wrong. I am running these through the cord rather than the BT, but I would think that would only help the sound quality and volume, not hurt it.What am I doing wrong with these?

Don't bother printing the instructions in English, French, Spanish, etc. Just draw some pictures and expect the user to figure it out from those. Nope. Of course, you don't need much in the way of instructions to plug a pair of headphones into a USB port.They're supposed to be wireless, but as far as I can tell only Bluetooth, with no obvious way to get the signal from the computer to the phones.
