I don't rate products quite often, but I have to leave my thoughts for this speaker here. This tuner is just perfect. Sound quality is amazing, bluetooth connection is stable and connect in just fraction of second without any dropouts.Some suggestions I'd like to make for next generation (if there will be a one, probably called tuner 3) : 1. add a sleep timer 2. add options for adjusting display brightness. 3. add a pause button.All right! I am going to enjoy this product. Thanks JBL!

I am reasonably happy with this unit, does what I would expect. My only real issue with the unit is that once the Bluetooth is paired to a device it seems impossible to pair it to another. What is really frustrating is there is no mention in the manual (or the internet) on how to reset the device to factory settings so you can start over so to speak. Overall, its pretty good and my issue is a first world problem.

Which is a real shame for a pick up and go type of speaker, I would have hoped for a more consistent sound regardless of placement based on its idea. But. I’ve started to like the ease of use and the great DAB signal and weighting everything up I like it. Just can’t push to 5 stars based of the slightly lacking audio, as it is a speaker after all.

Bought this to replace my old DAB that had died.The sound on the JBL radio is incredible considering how small and compact it is.Crystal clear sound and works well both in the house & garden.Power last for ages when we use it in the garden and the Bluetooth is easy to use.Great radio and a great price too!
I was in the market for a DAB/FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity, and, having owned and been very pleased with various JBL products previously, I settled on the Tuner 2.It is a very small and therfore very portable, and has a sound which belies its diminutive dimensions. The playback time is very good on a single charge. The radio sounds very good, but, as the Tuner 2 does not have any tonal adjustment on board, it really comes into its own when streaming a mobile device that has an add on equaliser.I surprised at how dim the display is, invisible in outdoor light and no brightness control. It's not all singing, all dancing, but it does the basics well.
I really like the sound and the fact that we can use it near the pool.What I do find very very odd, is that it has no sync button for playing this DAB music on multiple speakers for stereo effect. JBL made a product that is not compatible with any of their other products. Strange, I hope theyll bring out another version that has a sync button
Fast easy delivery. Radio is compact but reassuringly heavy, suggesting a good build quality. Comes with a usbC cable but no plug. Charges up no problem. Easy to set up and store favourite channels. Telescopic aerial which extends to a fair length but when in a strong reception area only needs to be flipped up from the back and not extended at all so less likely to get damaged. I am no sound expert and will never need to pump up the volume but I am perfectly happy with the sound quality. I have yet to use it for any length of time so can't comment on battery length.
Purchased for my husband for Christmas. We are gardeners, and have radio 4 plugged in all day, my husband gets in a knot with the headphone wires.Very good sound, however the speaker is on one side only, so sometimes outside, if it's a bit windy, it's difficult to hear if you're stood in the wrong place. Very portable, it's been in every room in the house. Not needed much aerial extending. Bluetooth works well. We have a small caravan, so it will be well used there too.Very impressed. Good battery life.
Am pleased with this so far. Sound quality is decent. USB-C charging is great. Tunes in DAB stations without problem, and works with Bluetooth easily. It's a nice size for use in the bathroom and like the white colour. Buttons are easy to use. My only suggestion is that the buttons are coloured slightly, so that they are easier to see (I need reading glasses to see them properly), however they are large so not a big issue once you learn where they are. People complain about the display brightness, but I think it is fine.

At the ned why to pay 80-90£, where the other can do better and cheaper and when you unhappy they will send you the money back or new one. I assume for 3 letters JBL.8.
