Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Pour Homme Eau De Toilette is a fantastic scent! As soon as I read the notes, I knew it was a winner. Top notes are Clary Sage and Mandarin Orange; Middle notes are Caramel and Tonka Bean; Base note is Vetiver. I don’t normally put the full notes on my reviews, only what I detect. And for this fragrance I can smell all of those notes. But what stands out the most to my nose is the Clary Sage, Salty Caramel, and Tonka Bean. Every time I wear this I receive compliments! Some people might think it’s more of a colder weather fragrance, but I’d say it’s year round. I’ve worn it on hot days and it’s great! The performance is easy 12 hours, no exaggeration! I received this product free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. My bf was super excited when he saw the case, he loved how it was red velvet. He liked the design of the bottle. It’s a bit pricey but I usually buy him one million which we both like and it’s the same price. He liked the scent. I also enjoyed the scent on him. I might actually buy this again. I was very happy with it. It has a nice warm scent to it and is sweet which I like. Very sexy smell.

Although I received this for my partner to try, I have to say I wouldn’t say this is an overly “masculine” scent. It could work for those who prefer a feminine but less floral scent as well. I love the packaging - the velvet box and the crown topped bottle make this feel like such a luxe experience! The scent itself is not overpowering or too strong, but it definitely smells musky and nice when my husband has it on. I’d say it’s pretty average on the longevity front but I honestly can’t complain for an EDT. Overall, I really enjoy it and so does my husband! He’s used it everyday since we received it.

This EDT is ridiculous. As someone indifferent toward gourmand fragrances and almost allergic to overly sweet ones, the opening on the first spray almost knocked me out and made me consider gifting it away immediately. Quite frankly I'm glad I didn't, since I can only describe the drydown as some incredibly pleasant mixture of caramel, tonka and vetiver. Performance on this thing is great, and it has good sillage as well. Not a conventionally masculine scent, but it's playful and could work well at clubs. Not a fragrance I would encourage anyone to blind buy because of how sweet it starts, but I suggest sampling it because it's definitely a grower.

Perfect scent for both summer & fall

I just loved it. The smell is amazing and last long. My wife really loved it and she finds the smell is very unique. The caramel smell mixed with woody and citrus makes it really perfect. The bottle itself is really fancy and I loved it as well. It's recommended for younger individuals and I bet they will love it. I would rate it 9/10. Probably I'll buy again once I've this one finished.

I tried this in The Fragrance Shop and was delicious and intoxicating. If you want compliments and to smell sexy then this is the one! Great for all seasons and for a EDT it performs well you get 8 hours easily. I bought it for my brother’s birthday and he loved it instantly never smelling it previously. There is a bright orange in the opening then a lightly sweet caramel note blended with the vetiver, tonka bean and aromatic clary sage. This is masculine, sexy aromatic with the sage and woody in the base. The caramel gives it a bit of sexy and seductive vibe. Truly delicious. If love Le Male, Invictus Victory Elixir and 1 million you will love this even more. Order received on time.
