Bought 18 months ago. Nice and simple and versatile and in general I'm happy with it. However, there are a few issues which are management but not ideal for the $'s spent.Some of the foam was already split when I received it and got worse fairly quickly, not a big deal, I've since taped it up. The mechanism that limits the fold down function (to allow access to your boot) is just a bit of a metal lug which was pushed away the first time I had more than 1 bike loaded, so the rack now just goes down until something stops it (i.e. the bikes). As per another review on damage to their car, you do you need to take additional measures than just using the included bungies to stop the bikes moving around and potentially scratching your car but that's common sense in a way. ... MoreBought 18 months ago. Very easy to install / use. Fits both kids 18’ bikes and large adult.
The rack is easy to use and allows easy access to the back of the car. Threw 2 e-mtb's onno problem. The bungee cords work well too.
This is one of the most flexible 4-bike racks on the market, at a price that makes it great value. The two long straight bars accommodate many different bike frame designs - great for kids bikes. The hinge lets me access the car boot without removing the rack. The only shortcoming is a lack of welded-on eye-loops for strapping the bikes to the rack. I looked at many different racks from $150-$900 before choosing this one, and I’m very happy with it.
