Absolutely Amazing

My review for Car Toys is below, and just know these subwoofers are absolutely amazing and a good buy for the cost: Car Toys of Tacoma has awesome products, great customer service and super knowledgeable techs always ready to install car audio. Ask for salesperson Paul! He was super helpful, very friendly and really is an expert on car audio: subs, woofers, decks, Android Auto, alarms, you name it. Paul's got a breakdown of knowledge on it! His strongest point is being able educate and articulate information about car audio brands and specifications. I would trust him with my life; this young man is all business assertive and extremely knowledgeable! He equalized and tuned both my vehicles with the perfect adjustments, and the music flows from the JL Audio speakers with perfect pure sound quality! The sound quality in this rig is extraordinary! 09 Impala: Kenwood Deck – beautiful, two JL Audio 12inch subwoofers in JL enclosure married with JL Audio interior woofers, JL Audio XD-700 5-channel amplifier (reserving energy at 45 percent gain). The sound quality, volume, bass and clarity is the best I've ever experienced! I am a big JL Audio fan and there is plenty of JL here, but don't forget they do have Alpine, Focal, Kicker and much more.

Best subs for the price by far!

I have (2) of these subs installed in my Maxima, got em in a ported rhino lined box, and I absolutely love them! Good punch, but also crisp, tight bass. For the price, you won't find anything better!

Great Sub

I disagree with whoever said to go easy on your speakers. You always want to overpower your speakers by at least 25% with a GOOD amp or they will sound like garbage at higher volume ! As I said before spend the money on your speakers and amps ( JL audio ) and you can't go wrong.

Great for entry level

I just upgraded my audio system and decided to purchase this along with the JL Audio JD250/1 amp. I installed it into a ported box I bought from a local shop. I must say I am thoroughly impressed. I have a 09 chevy malibu so I knew for a compact car I didnt want or need much to improve the sound. I have a younger child so I didnt want nothing too abrupt but enough to make me feel the music. For only 150 watts rms they knock quite hard and everyone who ride with me ask about my speakers. Dont let the specifics turn you away from this sub. This is my second car audio setup and I must say this has already became my favorite ever.

Lot of boom for a great price

Never had a subwoofer before but I’ve heard many different brands. Installed this today with a 600w amp, didn’t even turn the amp up much and this one single speaker was rocking my entire boat. I had a smile on face a mile wide, great quality, great look and great sound! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, goes great with my JL Audio M3 6.5 speakers in my boat!

Making generations good as new.

This was an overall great product the quality was spot on and build was revolutionary. The install was very easy to install the subwoofers I acquired were the W0v3 and I had the in a vent slotted box precut and ran to a 450w amp. The power is intense supporting both subs. I recommend it to new buyers for sure for price range. The receiver I have is a ken wood very nice receiver. Well worth it take time in installation,trust me its wort it it to take it slow. Gave it five out of five!

Very satisfied!

I love these subs they really bump even with lower volumes. The sound quality is just as good if not better than my previous V2's (which were amazing). Even the color is a nice black the looks good, I find myself looking back just to see them in action. All around great subwoofers!

Wow

I can't believe I can get this sound out of a ""low end"" JL sub. My boy has a custom enclosed w6 in a G coupe and I played this for him without telling him it was a w0 and he asked if i was running a w3, popped open the trunk and he just about lost it. This sub is great cause of its relatively low cost considering the sound it produces is crisp and precise. Listen to alot of EDM, rap, and some metal and rock, as long as you have a good amp and regulator this will provide an excellent sound no matter what your jamming out to. Can't really say anything bad about it and I've had it almost 4 months. Great product, definitely going to get another JL sub if this thing ever quits on me, really puts my old kenwood 12PS to shame.
