The first pair of Epic air buds I bought were DOA, didn't work out of the box. I contacted JLabs to warrenty repair or replace them and, they gave me a credit equal to the amount mine were worth new and let me choose what I wanted to replace them with. I went with the second gen Epic air ANC buds and am extremely happy with not only the super fast shipping but, the overall quality of the buds! Battery life is amazing, one ear bud will work for my entire 8hr shift without needing a charge. The sound quality is not amazing but, with a little tuning of the equalizer on the JLabs app, the quality is decent. The first one (Epic Air ANC 1st generation) that my sister bought for me was very good, all functions worked until the earbuds shell automatically broke for unknown reasons. The second one (2nd generation) I received after receiving warranty from JLAB had a problem with the left earbud, it did not work as expected. The third one (also 2nd generation) works quite well, but it has problems using the function mapping feature using the JLAB Sound app on the iPhone. I bought EarPods months ago. They stopped working, so I had to exchange. Now that I received the replacement pods, I realize the pair I exchanged were damaged since I purchased them. They cut off when I got a phone call. The promps I couldn’t understand. Other issues but the ones I have now are excellent! No problems what so ever. Audio is clear, equalizer you can control. They last throughout the day or night & charge very quickly. I have a pair of Apple AirPods. They don’t come close to this JLab pair. I would recommend these JLab EarPods to others. Their exchange policy is also quite easy. Only thing I didn’t like is having to purchase fed ex 2 day delivery for over $50.When I purchased my first pair, I had to wait over a month for delivery. That’s a bit crazy!

With that being said these at the current price point is downright mental! Reason for these fighting words: The app that is exclusive to this tier is embarrassing, poor user interface, abundant amount of grammatical/spelling errors. I don't know about you but if you are selling something worth $100 and your exclusive app is this coded like this is a slap in the face and I can hear yall laughing to the point of tears and using my money as your tissues. When you price this at $100 you get judged from the competition around that price point. In conclusion, if you are going to spend a benjamin on some earbuds, save up the extra 20-40 bucks and buy apple AirPods or go frugal with the Soundmates ANC. Not trolling here, you work hard for your money, spend it wisely, and for Jlab, reprice these at $60 and my tone and attitude towards this review would have been more light-hearted.

But then it works for a few minutes, and then off again. Nonstop, forever. The only way to temporarily fix it is to open the case, put the right side in, take it back out, and hope for the best.The app doesn't even work most of the time, and the troubleshooting hurts more than it helps.It's not just painful in that way though, these things are VERY uncomfortable in size, shape and weight. The various ear cushions give you several options, but all of them feel painful in different ways. All you do is just open the “Tile app” then hit the locate button where you can here the jingle telling you where your earbuds at. Pretty cool! Considering JLab is on top of their competitors when it comes to caring for their products. If one is up for an upgrade to a noise cancellation with top quality sound then these earbuds are for you.
I've either purchased or gotten thru warranty 6-7 pairs of Jlab Epic air anc earbuds. Only ONE of them actually have excellent ANC and excellent ambient mode. And I've destroyed more than one pair to get a replacement pair. And the quality of the Epic air anc earbuds are spotty. How come out of 6-7 pairs only ONE has excellent ANC and excellent ambient mode ? Why does Jlab not have better quality control ? Also have returned (2) Epic air sport anc earbuds for the same reasons. Some pairs the ANC and Ambient mode don't even work. Customer service is indeed the best there is-- but I just want earbuds that work consistently right out of the box. And it's not too much to ask.

Might as well just use them for earplugs to swim in the summer. Right bud didn't connect just left one. Finally got both connected and they show up as separate Bluetooth connections! Who's the derp derp that designed that feature ??? If I didn't have dual Bluetooth on my awesome galaxy s22 I'd be one ear Ernie looking like secret service sam. The touch controls don't work and the sound is way below average!
