I purchased this as a Christmas gift. It was so disappointing when it came. It didnt come in its proper packaging it usually does as per the Jo Malone standard. It came in a box that was way too small for the contents. The reeds were thrown in separately and were bent. Absolutely horrible. I will never buy Jo Malone products from Myer, i may as well have purchased it from Kogan which was selling it for half the price. But purchased it from Myer thinking they would package it the same way Jo Malone would. If you do plan on purchasing Jo Malone products i suggest buying it directly from Jo Malone to avoid disappointment!

I read some recent reviews on the quality of this product (that it does not last). I thought it was probably a bad-luck or the customer being super picky. Guess what - the negative reviews are unfortunately true. I don't know what happened, but this diffuser is definitely not as strong or lasting as the bottle I got a few years ago. I put it in a closet and closed the door overnight, but the scent was almost not noticeable in the morning. I bought it to balance the smell of a summer cabin, and it is not doing what I hoped for. I don't know if it's a bad bottle or the product quality has gone down, but will it be possible for me to get a new bottle? I am highly disappointed in this. I should have just bought the candle..

However, my experience with the Lime Basil Mandarin diffuser is a complete disappointment.I was very intentional when I opened the diffuser. At the advice of the sales rep, I started with only 3 reeds, as he explained you can "add" but not " take away" the level of fragrance. I waited 48 hours, added another 5 reeds, and still could barely smell the scent. I finally added the remaining reeds, went to work for 9 hours, and came home expecting to be greeting by its lovely scent, and was so very disappointed.I have moved the diffuser around the house in hopes of a better location. I'm so glad I did because now my house smells wonderful again! I'll be honest and say that the first one was definitely the strongest, but this one seems much better and I can smell it in a number of rooms. Thanks, Jo Malone! Now, please put them on sale!
After finally using up my supply of the original Jo Malone LMB diffuser, I ordered the new 'version' last week with a little trepidation after reading so many negative reviews but thinking the marketing team must have taken the reviews on board over such a long period of time and improvements would have been made but unfortunately this was not the case. So disappointed. There is absolutely no aroma and wasn't any after 24 hours. I keep turning the reeds but there is no lasting aroma. This used to be an amazing product, albeit expensive but justified as it lasted for ages and smelt delightful throughout the house but now it is definitely not worthy of the price and a complete disappointment. I had the diffuser for 1 week in a living room for 3 days(which is more than 36h as the Jo Malone website stated to do the job) the sticks were soaked with the juice and didn’t smell unless you were close to the bottle. Then I moved the diffuser in the bedroom (a small bedroom 6 by 7 feet) and I can say that after another 4 DAYS! still nothing, no smell whatsoever! What a waste of time and money Jo Malone diffusers are! They must be diluted with water. What a shame Jo Malone London! Very frustrating and disappointing! Be aware and stay away! Definitely not worth the price!!!

For context I keep mine in my bathroom which is average sized - not super small not massive. It scents the whole bathroom perfectly. My living room is close to my bathroom and when the door is open I can smell the scent from it. But it isn't too overpowering, or too weak, it's just right. The scent itself is sophisticated so even when stronger- when you are right next to it- it isn't headache or nausea inducing like some other brands. The only thing I can add is, I wish I had read the reviews for this diffuser BEFORE buying it, and not AFTER, because there is a bunch of other customers here who think just what I think.
