John West Salmon Bowl Tomato Risoni 170 Gram

I recently tried the John West Salmon Bowl with Risoni, Cherry Sundried Tomatoes, Black Olives, Lemon Basil, and it exceeded my expectations. The combination of MSC-certified wild-caught pink salmon and premium ingredients creates a flavorful and convenient meal. The bowl is not only delicious but also high in protein and omega-3, making it a healthy and satisfying choice. Perfectly paired with avocado and toast, it's become my go-to for a quick and nutritious meal. Highly recommended!

With each bite a wonderful sensation to the tastebud. However the aftertaste leave a strong fishy taste in the mouth once the taste of tomato’s and basil has disappeared Overall 4/5 -For someone trying to lose weight but still have a nutritional meal, this is highly recommended. It might seem like it is not much but it is actually really filling meal leaving you wanting just a bit more for the taste

I loved the fact it didn’t need to be refrigerated (before it was opened) so I could just throw it in my work bag without needing a cooler or anything! I heated it up - didn’t take long in the microwave - and it was quite tasty. I think it would probably be quite good not heated up either. The taste of the salmon was not too overpowering, and the other flavours in the dish worked quite well with it. I would definitely considering buying this is the future to keep in the pantry for a quick and easy meal or snack.

I found it super helpful as a breastfeeding mum with limited time to stop and get something to eat. Only takes a couple of minutes to prepare which was amazing while my baby was sick and clingy. Also a lot better than processed snacks I would usually end up grabbing for. Personally I'm not super into fish, but that was probably my only downside. If you're a fish person, then probably a 5 star snack ☺️

I really enjoyed the convenience of this meal, I was able to bring it in to work with me and microwave it. It was a great portion to fill me up, and was tasty as well. The salmon has an iconic John West taste that I have grown up eating and enjoying. It also is a well portioned meal to balance protein with vegetables, definitely recommend trying!

Was really excited to try this one, as all the ingredients listed on the front are a yummy concoction. HOWEVER. I was absolutely blindsided by how packed this is with beans and chickpeas (neither of which are listed on the front, and in the picture the beans look like they could be the olives listed). If you don’t like beans - which i do not, i would not purchase this item. I think it’s a really big misstep for JohnWest not to have this on the front given the large quantity of them in the serve! Besides this, absolutely delicious - love the flavours and the textures. A really yummy, convenient snack - MINUS THE BEANS!

It is very packed with all the essential nutrients needed to sustain a busy day from home, work or workout or just by being lazy- me time. The taste is just right. It is as good to eat it by itself, with/in salads, bread, crackers or with rice Really a value for money. I give this product a five star. I like it. Oppppssss, I love it!

Absolutely love this! Great lunch option with well combined curb and proteins. Only take less than a minute to heat it up in the microwave. Recommended 40 seconds only in 1110W microwave. Has a mild fishy smell, of course, it has salmon in it! But it’s not overpowering at all. Love the taste! I like the taste and smell of sun-dried cherry tomatoes with red beans, black olives and lemon.Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Honestly I thought this would be another canned fish + extras product that is okay for a quick lunch but doesn’t taste the best. I was pleasantly surprised that it’s very well balanced flavour wise, not too tart or overpowering like some Mediterranean flavours can be. The taste is great, the texture is great and the size is great. Enough to fill you up and give a kick of energy but not be comatose for the afternoon. I didn’t find any bones which I’m grateful for and I’d happily eat this again. Probably wouldn’t have purchased before, but happily surprised to find a new quick and easy lunch addition.
