This baby bedtime lotion smells AMAZING! It’s just enough hydration to last all night, and I swear the lavender fragrance lasts all night and day! If your baby has sensitive skin I would try using as little as possible. My daughter has very sensitive skin and is simply not able to use this lotion all over her body, but just a teaspoon or less of the lotion does great on her scalp/hair and keeps her smelling amazing without irritating her skin at all! My son on the other hand uses this lotion daily, and it works great on his skin. He loves getting “slimed” (what we call putting lotion all over the body), he even rubs the lotion in on areas he can reach and see. I chose to review the Johnson’s Bedtime Baby Lotion because I wanted to try it for myself. I like that this lotion has no free dyes, parabens or phthalates because I try to stay away from products that have these or other bad ingredients. It has a soft feel to it with a fresh smell while it absorbs into your skin very easily and quickly.For babies, I can see how the softness of this lotion and the fresh smell could soothe and help the baby to sleep. And for adults, I really like the Johnson’s Bedtime Baby Lotion and how it feels on my skin.But I will state that it would be very nice if this container had a push-pump lid so I didn’t have to use both hands to put the lotion on my hand. This would also be very helpful to mothers who do a lot of things with just one hand.

I use this only on certain occasions when my 13 month old will not go to bed without crying and crying nonstop. I will bathe him and then rub this on him afterwards while I sing to him with dim lights. Once he sees me squirt the lotion in my hands, I kid you not, a huge smile appears on his face, and his mood changes, he just absolutely LOVES this lotion!It smells incredible, and it truly does calm him down right before bed. I use this after a shower before I go to bed as a body lotion, and it is so nice. It moisturises your skin so much, and leaves a nice feeling on it. It has a really nice scent that I’m not sure how to describe but is nostalgic. It does contain some alcohol and fragrance, but is free of parabens

I tried this previously when my daughter was a younger baby, which really had no change or effect on how she slept. However, it smells absolutely amazing and lasts a long time, as well as keeping my daughters skin smooth and hydrated. As I like the smell, I’ve continued to use it for nap times and / or bed time and i now have started to notice it is helping her sleep for longer periods of time and deeper too. She wasn’t a very sleepy baby, so if you are planning on using for your toddlers I’d recommend doing so!

I am really impressed with this lotion. It moisturises really well with no oily residue leftover, and therefore, absorbs really quickly. It is so great that I have in fact started using it as a face cream for myself too, and not just as a baby lotion! It keeps dry skin at bay and overall is everything you need and want in a moisturiser. It’s a huge generous size bottle, with an easy application pump - perfect when you have only one hand with the baby - super convenient. Great product, very honoured to have tried it!

I have been faithfully using Johnson and Johnson baby oil for the majority of my skin care regime for over twenty five years. Now you have gone and changed it to something that the scent of offends me, the viscosity feels thicker and nasty. and I am allergic to it. I am completely physically dependent on this original product and without daily use of it my skin will become so dry that it starts to flake off. within a mere couple of weeks it will appear to be "snowing little flakes" if I lit my shirt. its gross and humiliating..Your new product smells repulsive to me and just sniffing it gives me heat flushes and makes me queezy.
