Annette is my go-to wig for comfort and style. I had never tried this color but thought, "Why not?", and I'm glad I did. Perfect for summer in the south. As always, WigOutlet delivered promptly. I can highly recommend WigOutlet once again.

This is my second Annette Wig by Jon Renau. The wig itself is very high quality, but I deducted a star because I purchased the Flurry color specifically because it was advertised as a most gray wig with plum highlights. Those highlights are imperceptible, unlike the color sample shown online.

I'm a hairdresser & ordered this wig for a client/friend. She seems to love it.I cut her bangs & thinned her out a bit. Jodie did a nice job of answering my questions about color. As you know...that's always difficult! When my client is happy---I'm happy.

Not entirely sure. The fit is great....very comfortable and obviously well constructed. The colour is the model's colour but found the roots very dark brown and wish the sides were a tiny bit longer. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. One can't blame the wig if it doesn't suit as well as one hopes and one should never expect it to look exactly as the model. Some of my friends like it some think it's a bit 'old lady' like others don't think so at all. So will have to lvie with it for a while to see what I think. This is my second wig...I recently reviewed the Kristin" wig But am learning now to study more the specs - weight hair length at sides crown etc. monofilament or whatever rather than looking at the model.Amazing how a hairstyle can totally change one's look! ... MoreNot entirely sure. Look at the other review and see a totally different 'me'! ;-) I think I will get one more and that should tie me over until my abused brillo pad hair grows out so I can cut it off and start over again.
This wig is almost perfect for me right out of the box. I have complete hair loss, so I did take up a few wefts across the back to close up the empty space between my head and the cap. I love this this wig did not need to be thinned. Before I lost my hair I had very thick hair, and this wig approximates that thickness well without being overwhelming. The style is almost exactly what my bio hair style was too! If there was anything I could do to improve this wig, it would be to make it a full lace cap to make it as cool and as lightweight as possible. However, I’m very please with this wig and do plan to buy more.
After a terrible experience with another brand, I decided to give Jon Renau another try with this Annette style. I had one of his wigs some years ago, but was spirited away by other short styles in other brands. I am so happy that I returned because "Annette" is just a wonderful wig. I have recently purchased two of this style and am posting photos of each, since they are different colors, although they are quite similar. The texture of each is lovely; very silky and easy to work with. I didn't even need to take them to my hairdresser for a little trim. I could simply snip a bit off the bangs and on one of them, I trimmed the sides just a tiny bit. I have received compliments on both from total strangers. The photo of me in the pink shirt is a rooted color. I can't ... MoreAfter a terrible experience with another brand, I decided to give Jon Renau another try with this Annette style. Again, not sure which color, but it's not the lightest. I am very happy with both wigs.
Most of the wigs I have purchased have been wearable right out of the box. Not so with this one. The style is quite lovely, and the color, Storm, suits me to a T. The first reason for the low score is the horrific cowlick at the crown. I am working hard to tame it into place, but it is taking some time and effort. The second reason for the low score has to do with the over abundance of short hairs poking up through the entire area of the mono section. A few hairs look natural, but not this amount. They won't curl over with the other hair fibers. Spiked hairdos are not for me. Again, this is requiring more time and effort. My feeling is this wig was made in haste without any quality control in place.Still, I am pleased with Wigs.com. They have always treated me well and have been most professional and helpful. So, the two stars are for the wig, not Wigs.com. I know that if I had returned it from the beginning prior to trying to tame it, they would have gladly acted upon the situation.
I was so excited to get this wig, based on the good reviews that I had read and the cute pictures posted. I was shocked and very disappointed at how horrible the wig is in person. It looks absolutely nothing like the pictures whatsoever. It looks like a furry creature died on my head. I put it on and immediately knew it was not for me. It did not fit well and was not comfortable and did not remotely look anything like the pictures. Truly a disappointment. I have several Jon Renau wigs, and expected much better than this. The lace front seemed "weird" compared to what I'm used to. I ordered the same color that I have always gotten with my other Jon Renau wigs and it looked nothing like the color of the other wigs. Annette is closer to how I used to wear my hair. The back is a bit ho hum, but at least the nape hugs my neck. I'll have to use some styling product to get her to behave, but there is ample volume to work with. I can't say that I love her yet, as I will have to style her to make her my own, but after returning about 8 wig purchases that were disappointing, she is a keeper. The color is Palm Springs Blonde and because Annette is not heat defiant, the color isn't as vivid as my Ignite. I would like a lighter blonde with no undertones, such as the new Seashell Blonde another brand is showing. I am a petite average circumference and the fit is good, with a little extra cap in the top. After I work on her a bit, I'll update my review!
First time I ordered the Annette (same color), the cap was way too small, I couldn't cover my hairline. I have a number of Jon Renau wigs, and had never had that problem. The second wig (same color) is snug, but does cover the hairline. The closeness to the head allows the look to be boy-short and not "wiggy" at all. It's a very gamine style and lots of fun. My own hair is just above shoulder length, and this makes for a great change. This is my third wig in the Renau 101F48T color, which is an immensely flattering "Grey" for women with warm-toned skin. I wear wigs off the forehead, and the lace front looks very natural.
