The pram can easily manoeuvred one handed when needed. It takes up a fair amount of boot space but it can also stand upright to store. We have yet to figure out how to fold it down with the seat attached. Probably once baby is facing out. Otherwise it has been a sturdy workhorse. Going for walks with it has been a breeze, it is not all terrain, which from the wheels you’d guess otherwise, but when we’ve gone to a park a short trip is manageable. I figured out the folding first go when buying it which and the unclicking of the parts is easy. We take this pram everywhere pretty much. We love that it is made in the Netherlands as the craftsmanship and build quality is amazing. Also nice big sun visor and the fact baby sits up high is a total plus. I love the Joolz Geo2 pram however I was a little disappointed with the expandable set as I feel the design wasn’t fully thought through for a family with a baby and a toddler. The expandable set is very easy to clip into where the basket would sit and is great for the days when you have both kids; however, on the days when you only have the baby (when toddler is at nursery) the system doesn’t work very well. You either have to change the upper seat back into a flat bed bassinet which isn’t easy and not something you would want to do very often. The second option is to have the baby in the lower expandable kit and remove the toddler’s upper seat but then the system looks very odd and you have no storage. Good for a baby but not great for a toddler.

The seat frame arrived with the carrycot already attached and so it was really easy to assemble for baby. The strange part was that a zip in section was needed to shorten the carrycot; not great for a larger baby. The zips all do upon the outside of the pram so this seems a good safety element. It is a nice cozy space inside and baby seemed comfortable in it. I like the ventilation flap at the back of the hood. The hood is zipped onto the frame rather than the fabric base as this makes it less complicated when switching from carrycot to pushchair. It is a bit fiddly to remove the carrycot fabric from the frame. The seat cover zips on fairly easily. It is a beautifully padded seat but it is small. My toddler is tall for his age and he didn't fit in it very well. His head was just above the top of the frame and his legs were squashed up when his feet were on the narrow footrest. To fold it up took practice and it didn't always fold first time. It is easy to put up. To fold as a pram the carrycot needs removing but the pushchair seat can stay on when folding it. I like that the swivel wheels are switched on and off by pressing the button with your foot. It is a very manoeuvrable pushchair with good ground clearance on rough footpaths in parks and woods. The basket underneath is really spacious and easily accessible when it is in pushchair mode. It has an adjustable end so you can get things in and out. To access it when using as a pram you need to have it tilted down. The handlebar is easily adjustable and has a good range of heights but is rough to hold. It is a solid pram and it is heavy for lifting in and out of a car boot. I found it strange that you have to purchase a separate rain cover for this, particularly considering this is an essential piece of kit for making it usable all year. It is good for a baby but there are travel systems that will last longer into toddlerhood.

Hugely versatile and well made

Joolz really have thought of everything. It's a really well built pushchair which can take you from birth through the toddler years. A summary of the key features I liked the most were: 1. Comes with bassinet and a seat with plenty of room to grow 2. Roomy basket underneath. Have found other buggies generally have annoyingly little space 3. Easy to fold away and unfold. Not like having to solve a Rubiks cube. 4. Padded 5 point harness in seat - no unexpected escaping or uncomfortable child 5. All terrain wheels and suspension - you never really know how good it is until you switch to a more basic buggy 6. 2nd seat - not something I needed but the flexibility of the second seat / bassinet options is pretty handy 7. Can fit all the accessories including maxi-cosi So why the not 5 stars you're probably asking? Well, it's not the lightest buggy around. None in this price bracket are but this is still on the heavier side. You get no accessories with it, they all cost extra and aren't exactly cheap either. Maybe I was expecting to get some other accessories included like a rain cover or something. Overall it's an attractive, highly versatile, well made, hugely customisable pushchair that should suit all your needs whether it's for one child or two.

Love this brand. Not only does it look incredible. It is so functional, easy to put together and sturdy. Couldn’t recommend Joolz more! I transitioned on from single buggy to a double on my second child! The lower adapter set allows this and is so practical!

Some great features
3 September 2019

This buggy was quick and simple to set up - I had it up and running within 20 minutes. I was immediately impressed with the weight (it feels wonderfully light after using my hefty double) and the height the child would sit at (I'm 5'9" and I hate pushchairs where my child feels miles away from me). The handle bar adjusts easily and the brake seems secure. After using it for a little while, I am impressed by the handling of this buggy. I can easily steer one handed as I hold my toddlers hand, and it moves smoothly over lots of different terrains thanks to the large back wheels and decent suspension. It's quite straightforward to collapse, although it is definitely a two handed job and you need to remember to do a sequence of things (apply brakes, adjust handlebar, lock front wheels and put seat in certain position) which was annoying at first. It does become ingrained after a while though and it can all be done pretty quickly. I like that it can be collapsed with the seat still in place unlike other buggies I've had, and it it's pretty compact only taking up half my boot (estate car). Other positives are the lovely vents you can open up to allow good air flow on a hot day and the extra flap you can pull down on the sun shade to allow for additional protection. I would also say that my baby seemed very comfortable in this buggy and my toddler loved sitting in it too. It has a great feature where you can extend the foot rest so it didn't feel too small for my tall two-and-a-half year old and the straps were easy to adjust. Some things I was not so pleased about are the fact that it doesn't come with a rain cover so this would need to be purchased at an additional cost and the basket is pretty measly despite being described as an XL basket. I also found the clasp to secure the child into the chair to be a but fiddly which was frustrating with a wriggly child!

Well balanced and stands out from the crowd when in use
3 September 2019

First impression was an oh oh this needs putting together, despite coming in a generous sized box. However, nothing to worry about, with only a handful of parts to assemble and all clearly described from the beginning in the instruction manual with a list, including pictures, of what is in the box. The wheels are the main part of the initial set up apart from the subsequent finessing of the cot or seat for first time use. Then came the compatibility with the boot of the car, a medium sized German SUV. The cot and the main chassis are pretty much the same length, and when collapsed, could be easily stored in the boot. Collapsing the frame was straightforward, just remember to lock the front wheels. Use so far has been as a single or mono cot. The configuration feels stable and balanced, providing confidence when manoeuvring and in particular navigation of kerbs. The cot is nicely weighted and easy to carry when off the wheels. The fabric is heavy duty and should stand the test of time, no spills to date. Non fabric parts are made up of a combination of aluminium, plastics and runners, each having a good finish, quality and complimentary look and feel. The combination of the cot and seat provide flexibility but more importantly good value and extends the lifespan of the buggy.

Well designed, stylish, very good quality buggy and pram set
28 September 2019

On arrival, this product came well packaged and in a clever box that you can turn into a stags head with some scissors and a bit of concentration! The design, colour and quality are evident when you open the box, everything feels as though it clicks together solidly, firmly and the soft areas feel soft, but also have a slight sheen which I am sure if so you can to a certain extent wipe then clean if you have a spillage. The manoeuvrability is very good, I was really impressed. The large wheel size is great for getting up and down pavements or steps, although it is quite heavy so may not be the best choice for a city dweller who does a lot of travelling on public transport. The conversion of the cot to toddler seat is very easy once you have done it the first time. The instructions are also very good, very pictorial, and mostly it's so intuitive that I didn't even really need the manual. Either configured as seat or pram the breakdown is easy and although all prams take up more space than you'd like, this one is pretty compact and would fit in the boot of any car. The fact that Joolz Geo is adaptable to singletons, twins and also to carry an older and younger child together is great, it gives brilliant flexibility. It's also highly adaptable to the user's hight, making it suitable for tall or short mums and dads. I know as a tall mum how uncomfortable having a pram that is too low for you can be, that won't be a problem here. Overall I have given this item a score of excellent. The only small drawback is that its slightly heavy, but as it is sold as 'all-terrain' this is to be expected and will be a bonus to those who would want to use it to walk in the countryside or need something robust to last for more than one child.

heavy but safe and beautiful

I was really surprised by how heavy this pram is. I would say don't get it if you live in a flat, or at least have a go at lifting it in store before you buy to make sure you can actually lift it easily. The up side of that is that it is very safe, no risk of it capsizing if the occupant is larking about or you have put your bag on the handle. It is beautifully engineered and has a great super long handle so great for tall people which isn't always the case with buggies and prams. I love the way the bits join together and the use of magnets etc. If you actually have a newborn already or are on the last stages of pregnancy then I would advise arranging a volunteer to assemble it as I found the process enervating and unpleasant and you have at leats two months of ... MoreI was really surprised by how heavy this pram is. The instructions are just a few pictures and I struggled to follow them which left me feeling insecure about the safety of the buggy. I think the company should provide a video on their website. There are a lot of bits. If you enjoy very well made things, are reasonably strong, enjoy cryptic instruction manuals and live on the ground floor - this could be for you. It has a lifetime guarantee ( I should think so - it is built like a tank) and is a buggy and pram so if you got this for your first and had several it would actually be a cheap option (although would smell of sick in later life I am sure).
