I think the product itself for its price is pretty decent, been wearing it for years and love getting a bottle each Christmas, just be careful ordering it in the shop, went to the store and when I said I wore it the woman seemed like I had asked her for the register, probably not commonly asked for because some people don't like it. Thought it was funny at first but her tone and the fact she said 'at least someone has to wear it ' didn't sit right with me. So the product was great but the service in store was questionable and store workers shouldn't be shocked we are going for cheaper products during a cost of living crisis.

He even claimed to me that his bottle is ending, if you are parents already know what that means. I can only say: "cursed are the reformulations". What a disappointment! The Bright Rose has fallen! It took some of the beautiful memories of my youth, I just hope it has the courage to stand up and re-shine for what is, a delicious discharge of liquid energy. 10/10 to the Vintage. 7/10 to the Reformulation.

Cologne For Every Male

I started wearing this cologne the year that it came out (1989). It's a very clean and aromatic scent that mixes great with any male's body chemistry. I also love the color and the spray bottle. I stay away from anything that only comes in a splash. Every time you take the top off you are letting air into the bottle to weaken the fragrance. Stick with sprays always. This bottle is huge! It's 6.7 oz., and you can't beat the price anywhere! This makes a great gift for any male. Even the box that it comes in looks great too!

Joop! A Long Time Favorite, Great Deal!

I've worn this scent for many years. The one I purchased was very well packed, shipped fast, and the price was great! It's fairly long lasting, the scent is hard to describe, but very nice. The bottle was fresh smelling not at all tainted or "sour" as some NOS fragrances can be, at times. I actually wanted the smaller bottle, but the price for the 4.2 oz couldn't be passed up!

Not happy.

I ordered this exact same bottle a month ago dropped it on the floor in the kitchen and broke it. I liked it so much I ordered another one. This time the box arrived without the cellophane wrapping. So clearly it was not a new bottle. It had already been opened. Also, there is about a quarter of an inch worth of cologne missing from the bottle. I don’t know if this was a tester or what but it’s definitely not brand new like the first one.

WORST SMELLING COLOGNE EVER!

I don't write many negative reviews, but I have to say how absolutely horrible JOOP! for men smells. I've worn many brands of good cologne, and I do not recommend this scent to anyone. It's sickeningly sweet and very perfumy, not in a good way at all. To me, it kind of smells like stale cotton candy...it truly is a rancid scent. To call it "Old Lady Perfume" would be an insult to elderly women. I had to wash the stink off the arm I sprayed it on, and I can still smell it! Trust me, it's really, really bad...enough for me to bother writing this review. In my experience, I think many of these inexpensive eBay tester colognes are cheap knock-offs/counterfeit/old expired stock, and do not smell like the original expensive department store version. Well worth trying

I know very little about scents, perfumes, etc. Was simply experimenting comparatively inexpensively when choosing this. On the first spray, recognised the smell immediately. A little goes a long way and lasts a long time. It seems stronger than my previous Beckham. Was worried it might be on the wrong side of the power-discretion balance. Its popularity may indicate that it isnt. Glad I bought it.
