Originally purchased to protect my clumsy fingers whilst cleaning sharp knives; excellent too. However, also love how well the brush cleans between the tines of forks! Great design and fun gadget to boot.

I'm very impressed with this Brush. It is so much better that using a paper towel or wet cloth to clean knives when preparing food.It is very efficient and works just as described. So easy to wash and keep clean.

I was told not to put sharp knives in the dishwasher so I use this for those knives. Feels much safer. Also use it in other cutlery if I just need to wash a couple of pieces. Bought one for my mum as well.

I bought this cleaner when I noticed the black grime and build-up between the tines of my forks! GROSS!!! What to do? I googled solutions and the Joseph Joseph BladeBrush Knife Cleaner came up! What a life saver! Now my forks are CLEAN! Even between the tines! The bristles of this brush are stiff enough to clean between the tines beautifully! I've also used this brush on my expensive knives (always razor sharp!) and now I don't fear for the safety of my hands! So glad I found this product!
Good idea but if the bristles met closer together it would be easier to clean the knife. You kind of have to scrub back and forth one side then do it again the other side and the knife doesn't want to stay within the bristles very much. Probably easier to lie the knife flat on the sink somewhere and use a normal brush. Saves the husband from shredding through dish cloths though (which was my purpose for buying it, so it's done the job there.)
This is one of the best kitchen tools I've purchased in a long time. It makes cleaning all of my utensils easy and safe. The bristles scrub well without scratching. The device is large enough to handle knives of various sizes. No more worrying about cutting my hands or gloves while cleaning sharp items. Every kitchen should have one.
I absolutely love this! My knives are sharp and I have cut myself any number of times. What I really like this for is to clean the spatula/knife combo I have for our gas grill. It is used every time our grill is used, but I always have dreaded washing it because it is so sharp. That is no longer a concern! It does the job!
This item actually makes it comfortable to wash my large sharp knives! After having a couple of slight strokes, my left hand gets jumpy without warning. I didn't feel safe holding a knife to wash it after that. When I saw this advertised, I had to buy it. What a great helper to have in the kitchen. Those of us with disabilities can always use items like this to give us back our independence. Thank you so much.
I received this item today and gave it a try. The blade brush looks and feels sturdy. As for the size and the grip of the brush, it feels comfortable in my hand. It's definitely much safer then using a sponge esp when it comes to cleaning the blades of my cooking knives and my eating utensils. Also now my reusable dish gloves will not need to be continuously replaced.
The actual product is a good product. Sturdy, easy to use, works well. I wish it wasn’t hard plastic so you could give knives, forks, whatever, a better wash. I feel like it could just be thought and laid out a little better.
