This item probably isn’t as useful for everyone as iti s for me. I have a deep narrow cupboard so this handy organiser means that it will be less likely for me to lose things I thought I had, in the deep recess of my cupboard because, being elevated and tiered, I should be able to see them. The handy drawer at the bottom might suit others’ needs, not mine so much.

Having dismissed the idea that I need something like this, it turns out to be a great purchase. So much easier to access bottles/jars at the back of the cupboard and makes use of previously dead space.Love it!

Not quite as useful in my pantry but nonetheless have found a use for it. I prefer the extendable store step, but do find this cute and adaptable to different spaces. Great in the office as well!

I bought two of these items and they really made a difference and help to keep the cupboard tidy. No more moving cans around to see what's at the back and then having to put them back and they never go back the same way. The drawer holds those small little packets or gravy cubes. And there's still room alongside these two for the taller oil bottles in a standard cupboard.
Frankly I do not see the point of them., Steps are not deep enough to rise the storage behind particularly visible making moving of storage still required to see what is what. The drawer is useful for small things like bought herb jars ,but layed down on their side. If you pick up the whole item the drawer will fall out as it is not fixed into the framework. If the height of shelf above was such that you can pick item upwards OK ,but it would mean losing a shelf to do that ,so nothing is gained space wise. Gadgets seem brilliant but ,this is not one of them in my opinion rather a waste of money.
The quality of this organiser was acceptable, but it was smaller than I was expecting and I was surprised to find that the drawer was separate and not incorporated into the unit. The purpose of the unit is to allow the user to see items at the back of the cupboard by placing jars and tins on a number of different levels, but because the shelves in my cupboards are difficult to move and moving one would make the shelf above narrow and of very limited use, I was unable to use the upper level. of the organiser.I also had to place the unit in the middle of the shelf because a lip around the cupboard prevented the drawer opening if it was placed at the side. The idea behind this organiser is to utilise space and allow the user to see and access items at the back of the ... MoreThe quality of this organiser was acceptable, but it was smaller than I was expecting and I was surprised to find that the drawer was separate and not incorporated into the unit. The idea behind this organiser is to utilise space and allow the user to see and access items at the back of the cupboard. This proved difficult because if placed on a high shelf it is not possible to see the contents of the drawer and if placed at a lower level, it is easy to see the back of the cupboard and the unit is not needed,I feel that this product is of limited use and does not represent good value for money. I would not choose to buy it.
It did spare a little more space in our spice cupboard once loaded up. The main thing is it made the cupboard look more organised, tidy and nice. Almost all our spices stand at the same height with the same width which meant having to move them around to check the ones behind. There have been the odd time when we ended up having double cinnamon (which just meant having more French toast). It has made it a little easier checking and looking for the spices. The drawer is not transparent, but there's no risk forgetting what is in it as it pulls completely out easily and slides back in just as easily. But don't lift the tier on its own as the drawer will fall out, it is not attached to the tier. Can line up 4x14g Scwartz/Tesco/Asda spice jars each tier. Can have 2 lines of them each tier but it will defeat the purpose of easily finding things at the back. Fits 3x 100g Tesco spices (ground pepper, whole peppercorns etc) very comfortably.
Put organiser in display cupboard, as not suitable for a floor cupboard. The unit has no base for the drawer, which makes it unsafe when the drawer is pulled out and therefore could only use it to contain light items. It is also too big for some display units. It may be better used on a counter top, which would negate the problems identified above, but cause clutter on working surfaces.I don't necessarily see this as a kitchen object, it could be used in a bathroom for oils, talcum powder storage of cotton buds or tips.I have a few other Joseph Joseph products but find this not to be of the same quality or usefulness as some.To summarise it needs to be better constructed and robust, and be a practical solution to a problem, rather than a potential solution for ... MorePut organiser in display cupboard, as not suitable for a floor cupboard. The unit has no base for the drawer, which makes it unsafe when the drawer is pulled out and therefore could only use it to contain light items. This is pretty compact and it won't make your cupboard magically bigger but it did help organise mine. I've put stock cubes/pots in the drawer and as it's in the cupboard, the fact that the drawer 'drops' out isn't a problem. In fact, it makes it easier to just to be able to take the drawer out to rummage through the flavours. The tiers aren't tall enough to mean that you can see every label on every spice box but it does give enough height that means it's easier to spot things. If it was tall enough to do that though, you wouldn't have as much depth. It's much easier to get to the spices that aren't as everyday. I like that it doesn't fill the cupboard which means that taller bottles of vinegars etc can sit alongside.
This is good quality - the bottom drawer slides out completely without a separate base, but this is ok. It's quite small but I've put sprinkles, gelatine etc in to tidy up the baking cupboard.
