Items can be placed inside either head or handle first, but the design also features handy icons for easy identification. Non-slip feet on the base stop the unit from sliding around in your drawer. Suitable for drawers with a minimum height of 8 cm (3 ÂĽ inches).

Brilliant organiser

This Joseph & Joseph cutlery organiser is ideal. The compartments do have small images of cutlery so that you know what is in each compartment, but after a couple of reaches for cutlery you quickly remember what goes where. The product is sturdy and good quality. The drawer space is maximised when using this product as it allows for storage without taking up room.Several friends have asked where I purchased this and have followed suit!

Good but design flaw

I previously used the smaller/single version of this tray but realised I could fit this larger one and house all my cutlery together. Same system as the smaller one, love how it separated cutlery in a space saving way. My only criticism is that the divider in the middle doesn't actually go down in to the underneath section, which in my case has meant that my cutlery has been sliding around and crossing over sections. But annoying but not the end of the world. Unfortunately in my drawer I can fit this large one but not two of the single ones together...however if you have the space, that is what I would recommend over this one!

I was very excited to buy this product. However, there are several design flaws: assuming the teaspoons go on top (inside of drawer) and the large spoons go at the front (just before the forks), I can't close my drawer with the large spoons in place. It all looks lovely UNTIL you try and put it in the drawer. I tried several different types of cutlery (they are reasonably normal sized) and none fitted. I tried it sideways but that defeats the purpose and wastes space. The 2 smaller compartments (opposite side to the cutlery) are not long enough to hold most utensils. It would be better to split the remaining area to the right of the cutlery into 2 or 3 full length compartments, or maybe 2 long sections, each split 25%:75%. Great organizer
5 January 2023

I replaced a traditional cutlery tray with this organizer in my rather small cutlery drawer and I couldn't be happier. It accommodates all of our everyday cutlery, and even had room for more specialized items (espresso spoons, grapefruit spoons, etc.) in the back, with more room for another organizer or tray on the side.Things to watch our for: Be sure you pay attention to the depth of your drawer. Mine is 3" deep, and it is just enough. Deeper would be more comfortable. How much you'll be able to accommodate depends on the type of cutlery. The bigger and bulkier it is, the fewer will fit.

Great organizer!
13 June 2022

I purchased these a year ago and have since given them as housewarming gifts. First measure your drawers to ensure a fit with clearance. I have a large set of silver with serving pieces. I got 2 sets and a 12 place setting fits perfect with some serving pieces as well. the larger spoons I set in the side space remaining in the drawer. The knife organizer works well with the Cutco set i have with steak knives. everyone I given these 2 has enjoyed them but measuring is the key.......

If you have extra knives this is essential
18 March 2022

Great storage for safely keeping knives.Note there is a little notch between the top slots which I was not aware of. This means you cannot keep deep knives in the upper slots. I wanted to keep a pizza cutter in one length so I cut the plastic notch out of thatbone slot. It cannot be done for many of them as it removes a bit of the structural integrity of the unit. This is only an issue if there's something like a pizza cutter or a cleaver that has a very long deep blade. Note that doesn't seem to exist in the bamboo option so if that's something you're looking to do I would suggest getting the bamboo one instead..Recommended piece of drawer organisation to keep hands safe.

This is fantastic!
15 August 2022

I work in interior design, and I have one thing to say to the masses... MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE... ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING you buy for your home. When you buy online, the dimensions of products are almost always stated. I have a kitchen island with bigger drawers as that is how they are being made these days, and this particular organizer is perfect for them.I also have some older cabinet drawers which are NOT as big. And guess what? These do not fit those drawers. Final word: MEASURE!Oh, and I happen to LOVE this product as it is a more modern, up-to-date version of the old style organizers.

Thumbs up
12 October 2022

Big space saver. Modern looking.I have my cutlery showing the handle-side so it was a little hard to tell the difference at first but we quickly got use to it + it has small icons under each slot so you can see which is which without having to pull the cutlery out to check. You could always have it the other way, it just felt weird to me.If you ever needed to clean it, I imagine it might be a bit tricky since the bottom needs a screwdriver to be taken off (like if you accidentally spilt something sticky in one of the slots). Soapy warm water should do the trick, you just might have to do it straight away.

Works very well could use a slight tweak

Niw that I have received and implemented the double width cutlery organizer, I am even more amused by all of the reviews that include comment implying that some men cannot figure these out including “if you have a boyfriend l, he won’t w it” vibe.a) The product is designed with symbols next to the slots indicating which utensil should go where. These could be made more obvious by being larger or in a different color and if one has a large enough set with thick handles they may be covered.b) How many people are actually in capable of remembering four locations? Two spaces for for two spoon sizes and two for both fork sizes. Knives are typically obvious. Visually even from the handle end.c) if the first two solutions fail, the utensils can be stored “business side” ... MoreNiw that I have received and implemented the double width cutlery organizer, I am even more amused by all of the reviews that include comment implying that some men cannot figure these out including “if you have a boyfriend l, he won’t w it” vibe.a) The product is designed with symbols next to the slots indicating which utensil should go where. I have a large count of each utensil form which is why I purchased the large holder. The large items and knives fit well. The half spaces for the small items tensils do not really hold them in place very well and are a bit undersized. Even just having some tabs along the outer rim to catch an ends that might try to escape would solve the issue for me and I think would be possible to include in the same mold shape.I would have loved to purchase the expandable version but have ten inch wide drawers and my wider drawers where I could have used one have other inserts in use that only leave a ten inch wide space for cooking utensil.

Would not work for standard-width or depth kitchen drawers
2 June 2022

We had to return this product. It does not fit a standard kitchen drawer. We exchanged it for 2 of their narrower products. But then it became clear that these are designed for deeper-than standard kitchen drawers, as well. Things continue to get stuck because they get caught when you open and close the drawers. Our conclusion: seemed like a great idea, but needs to be made to accommodate regular-sized kitchen drawers.
