I bought this J&J set for my daughter, it was the first time I’d used Deal… I had googled the product and Deal were one of the cheapest. I found it super easy to use the app, right through to purchase etc.The set arrived and it is fantastic, exactly what I wanted. Funnily enough the next day I had to go to David Jones and they had the same J&J Carousel set (maybe a newer model) for just over double the price! I was over the moon with my savings!!I’ll definitely be using Deal again, great product, great savings!!

Brilliant utensils, painful price

Wanted some silicon utensils for my anodised pans. The joseph joseph range are lovely, well made and very stylish - can't fault the design; every aspect considered and thoughtful, the colours subtle and neither garish nor bland. Love the little thing on the underside that stops the business ends of the utensils from touching your work surface. Obviously, it won't stop drips but it does stop them touching. The full retail price of this set is somewhat jawdropping, however! Would give five stars but they lose a mark for the price. Thank goodness for ebay.

Cheerful colours

I purchased these in October as I was concerned about scratching my new non stick pans. Really pleased at first but after cooking with them for a while I have experienced a few problems. The handles are heavy and on many occasions flicked themselves out of the pan sending sauce or food everywhere I have to make sure I remove it and place on the side. I have also managed to melt the handles and end of the utensils in a hot pan just resting on the edge while reading a recipe. I’m a normal busy mum and didn’t expect this to happen as I feel they are expensive.

EXCELLANT QUALITY - WELL DESIGNED AND STYLISH

Totally amazed at the quality and style of this set. It's very solid and well made. Very well balanced and not liable to tip over like so many others. Love the fact that you can place the utensils on your worktop without the metal coming into contact with it so it's perfectly hygienic. Very pleased with this purchase.

Good tough tools

I had bought a single tool with the little kick stand and my wife melted it. That was when I realized it had become my favorite spatula. The spatula is my go to cooking tool so this had to be remedied. I went searching for a quality replacement and came across this entire collection of kick stand tools. I have no counter space so the stand is still in the box stowed away, but the tools are being used daily. These tools are hefty because they are weighted on the handle to keep them from falling on the working end but it is a pleasant heft and they work very well. There are other cheaper versions out there, but I am glad I paid the extra and got quality tools. If they fixed these two major flaws, I would buy again

Love the caddy and design that includes a rest built into each utensil. There are 2 flaws that resulted in my rating at 1 star; if not for these it would be 5 stars. First, the utensils all fall apart where the colored handle meets the gray part. They got water inside them even though the description says dishwasher safe, and eventually they all fell apart which makes them completely unusable. The second flaw is they are impossible to clean. Dishwashing really doesn't work as they take a lot of scrubbing. They discolored too, but we could deal with that if they came clean. I don't have my receipt so no luck for me with warranty coverage, I suppose. For the price I was expecting a lot better from this set. Long Service Award

Had these for about 10years now, the handles are now showing their age.Yes they do flip out of a pan but the built in rest keeps the wet bits off the worktop.Yes the do melt groves into the handle if you leave them in a pot on the hob, soI quickly learnt to make use of the built in rest and put the lid back on the pan.The handles, after 10 years are now cracking from everyday use and dishwasher cleaning...I guess I could have hand washed them but having them for so long, I don't think it's a bad thing.Here's hoping the new ones last another 10 years

Missing/wrong set

Visited MK John Lewis. Brought set utensils. Opened. Nothing wrong with packaging. Washed. Putting on stand noticed I have two same utensils. Two blues but missing light green oneAll trip and back to find what set is wrong is very disappointed.

Practical and beautiful

I was skeptical about this because of some of the reviews, but decided to take a chance on it and I'm a big entertainer, as well as cook daily so I'm all about things looking pretty, as well as being practical. Well I'm sure I took a chance because I absolutely LOVE this, so do my kids and all of my guests so far. It's colorful but not too loud, the pieces are sturdy enough and has never wobbled or toppled over. And I love being able to set them down on my counter as I cook.. yes, they will drip as anything that you set down after taking out of a pot with liquid, but either put a plate, papertowel or clean up like anyone else does after cooking.Love it, great idea whoever made it, would definitely recommend :)

I think the negative views listed are quite unfair. When was combining plastic and high heat ever a good idea? So, no, don't rest these implements on the edge of a red-hot saucepan or frying pan. They are fine to stir with, to lift and drain - e.g. vegetables - from a pot; even to stir stir-frying food. When put to the side they rest neatly on their little stands, leaving your counter top free from mess. They are colourful (we have the multi-coloured set), and will brighten up any kitchen. They may discolour when exposed to strong colourants, but we have never experienced this. We bought ours ages ago, and have been using them, constantly, ever since. We love them.
