The Elevate range of kitchen tools is designed to improve hygiene and reduce mess. Each tool has an innovative weighted handle with an integrated tool rest, ensuring that thehead or blade is always raised off the work surface, when placed down. This stylish set comprises five kniveswith Japanese stainless-steel blades and ergonomic handles plus a smart, slimline knife block. The block features easy-access knife slots and a removable, two-stage ceramic sharpener in the base. Simply push the side of the unit to release the sharpener when required. The sharpener features two ceramic wheels that sharpen and hone the blades, helping to keep them in optimum condition (not suitable for ceramic or serrated blades). After use, simply slide the sharpener back into place where a magnet holds it securely in place.

Ordered due to the need for compact storage. Quick notification when back in stock and delivered a few days after purchase. Excellent quality and very cleverly thought out set of knives. These are extremely sharp so please be careful. Does exactly what it says on the box but even better than expected.Happy to genuinely recommend them to others and thanks to whoever thought up the idea from Joseph Joseph

The only quibble I have is that they are a bit tricky to put back and it's easy to miss the exact place and so then they fall out and you have to dodge the blade! However, I think I have mastered it now. The second quibble is that when sold the item said 'includes sharpener' but there was no sharpener included.

The only quibble I have is that they are a bit tricky to put back and it's easy to miss the exact place and so then they fall out and you have to dodge the blade! However, I think I have mastered it now. The second quibble is that when sold the item said 'includes sharpener' but there was no sharpener included.
This knife block is perfect for small kitchens as it takes up very little room. It is an example of great design, as you always grab the right knife due to the colour coordination. Knifes are strong and don't get food on your table due to the raised edge - more smart design! The built in knife sharpener is a great bonus too.
This block contains all the essential knives. Also, even a knife sharpener. It is good to be able to use a knife suitable for the purpose in preparing various foods, and it is good to have all these functions in a small block. Since the kitchen tools you use every day are pretty, isn't this also a good configuration?

These knives are flimsy. I wanted heavy, quality knives but now realise I need to spend a lot more to get that. These knives would easily bend. I like the holder and the sharpener is a great idea but re-packaged them as soon as we took them out of the box. Currently awaiting a refund after spending £11.15 to send them back. Lessons learned!
Always wanted a knife set as well as a sharpener and what got me to get this is the design - so sleek and beautiful. The best is it has a built in sharpener neatly tucked away. So now I've got both things that I would otherwise have to buy separately. How nice!
Slimline block that fits well on to kitchen surface without taking up lots of space. Knives clip in securely (a must with overly curious cats in the home) and great idea to have an integrated sharpener. Knives are comfortable and safe to hold. Overall an excellent purchase.
Hands down my Favourite buy this year. Always wanted a good set of knives, but also wanted them to blend in my kitchen well. Look no further, there you have it. Love the knife sharpener hidden in the bottom. Genius design
