I've observed and unfortunately used many products which have been manufactured by this company, for which many only have style or remain pleasing to the eye, over any true lasting functionality, which seems to have become the norm. I love Joseph Joseph products and when I saw this colorful set and was in need of new measuring cups and spoons I thought this would be the prefect choice. Unfortunately they are flimsy and it is very difficult to read the measurements on the spoons. I do not recommend this product.

I've had my set of measuring spoons for several years. I do find that reading the raised lettering for the size of the spoon very difficult to read. Maybe not a great issue if you're using them regularly and have come to recognise each size but for us occasional "chefs", larger lettering would be helpful. I've ended up marking mine with a permanent marker.

Little bit disappointed. The cups are nice, and the colours, but the cups don’t stand up on their own, because the handles are too heavy. I’m not so keen on how they snap together, I’ve only used them a few times, and the snap on 250ml is already broken. It’s also quite hard to see the measurements on the handle. Other than that they’re decent quality, and the measurements are correct.
Handy measuring cups for quick measurements in vibrant colours. The only con is that the listed measurement on each cup is engraved on the end of the handle in same colour as the cup, so is hard to see. Could do with being in different colour to make it stands out for the visions.
I was looking for a set of plastic measuring cups with wide, flat bottoms and these definitely fit that description. I wanted to love them, but a couple of improvements are desperately needed. First, the measurements are embossed on the handle in the same color plastic as the rest of the cup and are almost impossible to read. Second, I wish that the two cups/spoons closest in size (e.g., the teaspoon and tablespoon) were not the same color. It makes them hard to identify by sight without squinting to read the aforementioned embossed measurements. Unfortunately, there aren't many colorful plastic measuring cup sets with flat bottoms, so I will have to continue to use these until I find a replacement.

Recently, when reading a recipe, one section called for a certain measurement of what our American friends hilhariously call O-Rag-an-Oh. Well, I stopped short and gave a happy yelp of glee. I had just the thing to ensure that I would not erroneously under or over spice the dish. If only everyone could know such contentment!
There are 1/4, 1/2, 1 tsp, 1 Tbsp, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 1 cup measures. But no 1/8 tsp, 1/2 Tbsp, and 1/8 c/1 oz/2 Tbsp measures. Plus the small cup shaped spoons seem like more of a gimmick to nest than useful for scooping small amounts out of containers. Better to get more complete 6 piece spoon set 5 piece cup set.
This item is really useful. It's compact &, being in nice bright colours, is easy to locate in the drawer when you are limited for time. I would thoroughly recommend it. It would make a nice little gift too.
These measuring cups have every size you could possibly need and slot together easily for storage. A lot of American recipies require ingredients to be measure in cups. I always used to struggle until I found these.
