Juliette Has A Gun Moscow Mule 7.5ml EDP

Just like the title, this fragrance smells just like a Moscow mule of ginger beer and lime. The longevity on this scent is anywhere from 6-10 hours depending how much you spray of this. The only thing about this scent is I find at least for myself you have to spray it on your wrist so you don’t overwhelm yourself with the smell of this. I find when I wear this on my neck and chest I get a little bit of a headache after a few hours. But when I wear this on my wrists I find I can really enjoy the fragrance!

I did a blind buy since there are no Sephoras that sell JHAG anywhere near me. I was very let down. I was imagining fresh ginger, but it smelled like cheap watered down Axe body spray. Instantly inducing a migraine. And I couldn’t s rub it off, it lasted through 2 good soap s rubs. So, at least it has longevity. Just not the scent I was expecting. I wouldn’t say this was in anyway a feminine scent. Had to send it back. Sticking to Sunny Side Up.

Hands down my favorite scent to apply at the moment. I feel this becoming my signature perfume from here on out! This smell is just me in every way. Its everything I love and am about in a perfume bottle! Super clean and fresh with a hint of sexiness. To me, this fragrance resembles Not a Perfume Superdose also from Juliette Has A Gun but the ginger notes in Moscow Mule really adds the sultry sexiness into the fragrance. As I mature and my taste in fragrances evolve and change, I definitely see this scent being a Signature staple in my life amongst a few others.

I really enjoy this perfume. It’s not my favorite but it is in my top five. I feel like I go to it more on the days I want something fresh and clean. Or when it’s a little more warming don’t wanna have you sent on. But this is more my daytimes it not a nighttime favorites. But I do love it and I would gladly re-purchase it I think it was worth every single penny. It lasts on me pretty long not quite all day but most of the day. And for me that’s pretty good for a more fresh or citrusy fragrance. Especially since for me those fingers is usually only last a few hours. So if you’re looking for something that’s really fresh and citrusy and warm for summer time fragrance this is definitely a I would highly recommend.

Am I an alcoholic or does this just smell amazing?

I feel sorry for the people who this doesn’t work for because it’s my new favourite scent. it smells exactly like a Moscow mule sans the vodka. I used to only wear santal 33 and this has similar vibes but is slightly more feminine. I thought that it would fade fast because of the reviews but people were telling me I smelled amazing all day even after a sweaty walk across campus. I would suggest it to anyone who doesn’t super feminine or cute scents because this is definitely a cooler toned/masculine scent. I bought the travel size to try it out and will be investing in the full size when it runs out

Beautiful packaging, terrible product.

Moscow Mule is my favorite cocktail, so I was drawn in by this. I loved the frosted glass bottle with the Gothic script as well... Only to spray it and discover it smells like rubbing alcohol and hairspray! And like every other Juliette Has a Gun fragrance, it just doesn't last on the skin. If you want a fragrance that smells like Moscow Mule, try Twilly Ginger by Hermes.

Blech! A rare JHAG miss.

Horrible. I LOVE Moscow Mules but this makes me question that. I can’t even describe the fragrance. I personally don’t smell anything but basil or some other herbaceous note. I normally love that kind of thing but this ain’t it. It doesn’t work. And because JHAG fragrances are so long-lasting, it ruins my whole day when I wear it.

DO NOT BLIND BUY!

Do NOT blind buy!!!! I almost bought this online & decided on another fragrance. So glad I did. I went into a Sephora today, spritzed it on because I love the listed ingredients BUT this however smells NOTHING like a Moscow mule. There is NO citrus, not even sure I detect Ginger. It has a weird (BAD) chemical smell on me. Like rotting wood doused with a failed chemistry experiment. Smells sort of Smokey on me.

Doesn't last

Ugh man. I get so annoyed when I find a nice smelling perfume that doesn't last at all. Upon application, it's a very bubbly, ginger-y fragrance which I really like and can be worn year round during the day. I'm not as in love with it as it settles down- there's a hint of something, I think it's the ambrette (maybe it's the hedione I'm not sure), that I'm not obsessed with. It looses its freshness and becomes more mellowed out. On top of that, the only way to smell it is if someone literally smells where you applied on your skin. There's no sillage and it fades so quickly. I'm glad I just tried this in a sample and didn't purchase the full size (which is expensive!)I also don't think it smells like Light Blue at all (of which I'm an immense fan of). I really get a strong lime scent from LB and with this I get more of a bubbly ginger scent and the dry down isn't citrus-y at all, but more earthy. I would only wear LB in the summer but I could see people wearing this year round.On paper this seems like a fragrance I would love (ginger, lime, jasmine and woody scents) but it falls flat.Overall 4/10 wouldn't recommend.

My favorite

Got it for my birthday. It’s the perfume which smells like success and cleanness. Moscow mule is a cocktail from vodka, but I don’t feel any alcoholic notes in it. I’m absolutely in love with the way it smells on me. Reminds me of “not a perfume” from Juliette has a gun, but with more citrus smell and leather. It opens differently on each person. Perfect for those, who are self confident and want to complete it with the perfume you are wearing. Recommend to try!
