I cannot agree with these positive comments on here and I actually wonder if they're real. This is an awful product. I have two other jumbuck items. The spit roaster and a kettle (Webber copy) and they are fantastic. However this pizza over is a totally flawed design. The fire is directly under the food. The pizza stone doubles as a heat deflector. The oven won't hold heat, you need an active flame and have to feed more wood which results in that acrid smoke taste. I could go on and on but basically,, if you like crappy tasting food. Like your weekend filled with a continuous source of frustration. Like something that rusts out in a month. You'll be absolutely delighted with this "oven". It's a garden ornament at best!

Dont bother to buy

Received it as a gift. Assembly was straight forward if only a little time consuming. Couldn’t control the temperature and the pizza was either cooked on-top and charred on the bottom or vice versa. Pinning it down to poor heat retention due to very thin sheet steel walls. Used the ceramic plate on the home oven and pizza cooked perfectly.I would return it for a full refund if I had the receipt. Don’t waste your money on this - just buy the ceramic plates and use the house oven instead for crispy pizza bases.

Good value, had it for a few years now
20 January 2023

Had it for a couple of years now, good value. Best to buy the cover if it's not out of the weather. Best thing I did was buy the 10 pack of fire bricks from bunnings to use on the top shelf and half of the bottom for roasting stuff, no need to cut them to fit or anything. It cooks much better with the fire bricks.

Happy with my purchase

The diagram where the handle needs to be reconsidered. Perhaps place the same handle on the same side as the wheels. When one is wanting to move and tilt the Pizza oven it is difficult. People follow the picture and it is hard to tilt and move. We moved the wheels to the side of the handle. It now moves freely.

It works
17 April 2022

Easy to put together, keeps good temp when you work it out (no oven keeps heat without fuel no matter how thick or thin). Uses minimal wood for pizzas. I fire it up on a few small pieces of wood to 300-350degrees Celsius, vent and choke it at 250 degrees. Prepared pizza in on vented metal plate, walk the dog and 15 minutes later - crispy and browned pizza. Can't wait to do some scones this weekend; maybe some garlic nan bread or a meat pie. Sometimes they make good things at a good price. Oh, and I don't have to buy pot ash anymore.

Not overly impressed
15 February 2023

I got this off my parents for a birthday present. Was a little frustrating to assemble, done first pizza in it and was not bad. Then noticed the paint peeling off the back of it. The unit feels cheap and flimsy but for the price it’s you get what you pay for so to speak. I got a refund.

Pizza oven and smoker

Fairly good little unit for small batch cooking (4-6 people). Heats up really quick and simple to use. Good for anyone wanting to try the pizza oven cooking thing without going the whole hog on price. We do racks of ribs, brisket etc which is amazing.. like all wood fire cooking need to be prepared to invest the time to get the hang of how much fuel/cooking time/temp etc. for the price we are really pleased : )

Terrible quality
2 January 2023

Took a gamble and bought one. The actual oven had a big rust spot on the outside of the oven and the oven doesn't appear welded properly as there are gaps and you can see rust through the thin layer of powder coating on the oven. Didn't even bother setting it up and will return the item.

For families who cant afford an expensive fancy woodfired oven..this does the job.My first time using it i managed to get the temperature up to 400 degrees with charcoal and wood.Managed to cook 3 pizzas..and then as charcoals were still so hot i cooked a butterflied chicken and a carrot cake for the next nights dinner!
