Jura E6 Automatic Coffee Machine - Piano White

Our old Jura D series died after about 15 years. We both really liked the coffee it made and how easy it was to use. The fact that we could still get parts for it and did replace the seals approx 2 years ago was also a huge vote in favour of purchasing this brand again. The heater went this time and we decided it didn't owe us anything so started researching for a new machine. We did several hours of evaluating and between reading a number of reviews on auto coffee machines in this price range and our previous experience we selected the Jura E6. We are still playing with all the settings; so far we have found the coffee amazing and again very easy / intuitive to use. Who needs to go out for coffee when you have this at home!

Good Machine

makes good and HOT coffee but I actually use the highest strength for 4 oz. and then 1.5 oz of Espresso to make it stronger. The coffee beans in the grinder are situated to the side of the grinder feeding's opening - and unless pushed into it or the bin is totally full - don't drop into the grinder. Strange design- the opening should have been below the beans' storage.Having milk connected is too much of a hassle for one or two cups. I have better things to do than to be of service to the machine. So I have and use an external frotter. I turns on quickly and rinse automatically unlike my Other older F7 Jura when the user needs to press a button to rinse.

How can Jura drop its standards so low????

Jura describes its new E6 coffee maker as having “quiet elegance” its “ unique technology hidden behind its timeless exterior”. What they don’t say, is that they have shamelessly cut every imaginable corner to cut the cost of manufacturing to the absolute minimum. The visible parts of the machine are clearly made from the cheapest wafer thin plastic on the planet leaving the impression of a bargain basement disposable toy. Goodness knows what they’ve done with the parts hidden inside.Having experienced the joy of Swiss design and engineering in the fabulous Z10 for the last year, I am truly shocked by what Jura have done with the E6.Julian D, London

I really thought I made

I really thought I made a dumb purchase on a 1600 dollar espresso maker. I couldn’t have been more wrong. My girlfriend and I have saved so much money in a measly two weeks of owning this product. It’s barebones compared to other Juras but we’ve made it work fantastically for what we want. My girlfriend makes a salted Carmel cold brow every morning and I made an iced latte before work. We really love this machine.

Its hard to buy another

Its hard to buy another brand after owning a Jura. My Jura Impressa lasted 5-6 years without fault and made perfect coffee - though I had been incorrectly using the Milk foamer for years. I evaluated a lot of other brands starting October 2022 when it was time for a new FULLY AUTOMATIC machine - I am too clumsy to Tamp my espresso grounds - AND - I shopped all the likely suspects trying hard to shop small business as best I could. Could not be happier with Whole latte love and its customer service and SO FAR could not be more pleased with Piano White Jura 6 - especially now that I know how to use the frother/foamer. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 only because of cost. Jura is still priced like a Maserati. Well done though.

Jura E6...Great machine, great coffee/cappuccino

My husband and I bought this as a Christmas gift to each other last year and we absolutely love this machine! It’s as easy to use as a Keurig but the flavor of the coffee and cappuccinos is unsurpassed. We had sampled coffee each morning we had previously stayed a Bed & Breakfast in New Bern, NC and the owners told us this was the machine that made it delightful morning coffees so we just had to buy it. The cost was a shock but great quality comes at a price. Everyone who visits raves about the coffee we serve them and we even convinced a friend to stay at our house and take care of our three dogs and 11 chickens because she loved the cappuccinos so much! 1st in Coffee has been a great resource as well. Jura e6 coffee machine

Had this Maxine for around 3 weeks. Quite easy to set up. This model does not include wifi / Bluetooth but an adaptor can be bought. The grinder adjustment is slightly awkward to operate but you probably only need to this once. The frothed is not ‘integrated’ but simple to set up. Otherwise the coffee options are good. Use good quality coffee finely ground and the crema is very good. Slightly noisy when auto-cleaning. I think it’s value for money.

Makes great coffees

The machine makes a good range of coffee drinks quickly with more flavour than my old espresso machine. The ability to use ground coffee as well copes with visitors who want a different coffee to the beans. Relatively easy to operate it produces the first coffee of the day in about two minutes. The milk system is not straight forward. It self-cleans the dispensing system well. Cleaning the drip tray is cumbersome due to its size and limited capacity. Great Purchase!Jura E6 is a joy because it is very easy to use right out of the box. Simple attachments, modern clean look, water tank on the side that is visible and easily removable for refill. The bean hopper is easily accessible. This machine produces shots, coffee and milk drinks PERFECTLY every single time. The ease of making drinks with step by step pop up instructions on the screen makes it a breeze. All 11 drinks are customizable according to strength, temperature and volume in the ratio you want. The factory setting on most drinks are perfect for me. I did customize a touch a couple drinks to my taste. The milk foam produced is silky smooth. The milk system clean up is a EASY with step by step instructions and saved until you change again. Superb Quality, Right Selection of Features

We upgraded to the E6 from our Jura A1 and are so happy with our decision. The E6 offers a solid selection of features, without being overwhelming (we primarily drink espresso), and it's nice to have the option for an occasional cappuccino. I was especially excited to make Americanos, and the Caffe Barista is great too. It's also nice to have the hot water feature to get a perfect temp for green tea. The quality of the brew is outstanding. And I love the ability to change and save drink settings to get your coffee just right for you. We love the large water capacity, and the tray requires less frequent maintenance than our old model. I also want to shout out Jura's incredible service.
