The dinosaur itself is perfect. The reason for 4 stars is on behalf of Wal-Mart sending it in packaging that says what it is right on the box. A little warning that it would be packaged like that when it arrived would have been nice.

This is a Christmas present that I ordered early for my son. He had been saying if I buy this, I had to make sure that it is Mattel made. It is incredibly large and the details on what I can see of the toy (still in the packaging) is impressive. I can't wait for Christmas just for him to open this awesome toy. This is from the Camp Cretaceous line. Also I received this item so fast, within 3-5 days of ordering.

This was purchased as a birthday gift. It came in a huge box, when I opened it up the packaging was all beaten up, even a hole in the box. Embarrassing to give as a gift on this condition.

My 4 year old son loves his Indominus Rex. It was bigger than I expected once I had attached the legs, it looks very realistic. It’s arms and legs move allowing lots of positions. The claws on the hands can hold its prey before they are swallowed and fill it tummy. The door to release the tummy contents is easy for small fingers to manage too. We’ve had hours of fun finding different things for it to eat including smaller dinosaurs, animals, cars and socks!A must for any dinosaur fans.
The dinosaur is great fun and has brought great delight to my 4 year old.Assembly is easy and once it is put together, it's much larger than I expected. It can take a bit of adjusting the body position and legs to get it to stand steadily but it keeps its position once it's set.The best feature is the ability to "eat" other toys which has been the highlight and it has seemed to develop a particular appetite for small cars and farm animals! The size of it really is amazing and it towers over other toys (and our pet cat!).It really does stand out from our other dinosaur toys and has become a go-to toy for my son and his friends.
I've had the T-Rex toy for around 2 weeks now. My son absolutely loves it, there has been no day that he didn't play with it. Amazing build quality with great detail, good size toy for 4 year old to play with as my son gets bored very quickly with smaller toys. T-Rex is very easy to put together, it is stable and very safe for little children as there is no small parts. T-Rex has compartment in it's belly where all the toys end up either its a toy man or a toy car ( as it is in my case), compartment is easy to open and close.
This toy is incredibly well build, it is much larger than expected when getting it out the box, it has almost a lifelike resemblance that it scares the birds if left near the window! The arms and legs move nicely, at times it can be unbalanced but with a little change of angle and height it stands well. The mouth is really wide which is great for making it eat other toys and with the tummy trap that can let them back out it is a great added feature! The head and tail movements with the arms and legs and feet give hours of fun for role play. The teeth and claws are a little sharp from being well built, so have to be aware of eyes of smaller children but generally this is a brilliant toy for any dinosaur lover!
My 4 year old loves it as he’s into everything dinosaurs! He loves how big it is and that it ‘eats’ smaller dinos although to doesn’t come with them he has plenty already. He loved watching the film and seeing ‘his’ dinosaur in a the film. Slight downside is because of the length of it can be quite hard to get it balanced to stand on its own and be stable but in general it’s a great toy for Dino lovers!
This is the only dinosaur you will need, it eats all other dinosaurs for breakfast....literally. Pop a smaller dinosaur in its mouth and it gets eaten!!! Open up the tummy and out it comes. What more could a dinosaur fan want.Excellent attention to detail and the fact that every limb moves makes it great and very easy to play with. Teeth and claws look realistic but are soft to the touch.Hours of fun had for children and great for adults to join in to.Great for sensory play due to markings on feet and tail.Lots of play opportunities.
I like this product because they put fragile on it and it’s really fun like I recommend it really fun so yeah I got it from my son for his birthday and he really loved it
