Just for Men Shampoo-In Gray Hair Color, H 15 Dark Blond Lightest

I have used this product for 3 years with no problems. It turned my hair charcoal black last time . . It was supposed to be light brown. Would not wash out. Tried everything even went same day for a hair cut to look less dark. No luck. Salon was impressed with dye job. Tried products to get it out. No luck.

Bad Batch of Hair color

I have used JFM for 25 yrs, with a lot of success. The last time I ordered I bought the 3 pkg of H-15, which is a light Brown.Today I used the first box of this H-15 and it turned my hair a JET BLACK!Never happened before, but I suspect others are having the same problem.I WANT A REFUND IMMEDIATELY, OF SEND ME A NEW3 PKG.ps, not SHOWING MY HAIR, IS EMBARRASSING ENOUGH!

Great results

It makes the gray go away. Just make sure to follow all the directions. Also,try to finish the application within a minute. In the bathroom, sprnewsparereadFollow all the instructions. Spread newspaper around the sink. Make sureyou apply it fast with the gloves on. I step into the shower after 5 minutes.

Just an OK product for a higher price

I use the "Sandy Blonde", and on occasion, the "Darkest Blonde/Lightest Brown" colors. The hair color does not last 8 weeks, as stated by the company. For me, at best, the color lasts 4 weeks. I also notice that the color doesn't "stick" to some of the grey hair, such as the hair on my temple. The company also states that the color will not wash out, but that is not an accurate statement either. Over the weeks, my white towel gets brown from drying my hair with it. The price has increased over the years, but the product hasn't gotten better. If the price was 40% lower, I would consider it a good value, but being that I have to use it twice as often (every 4 weeks instead of every 8 weeks), it's just "OK".

My dad’s favorite

My dad is 77 years old and has naturally 85% grey hair. You’d never know it tho because he has me dye it for him about every other month using just for men’s in shade dark brown. He loves that he only has to wait 5 min before rinsing it out. I’ll apply the product with a hair dye brush and I find it really helps get all the strands coated and makes a noticeable difference in the final results. There’s plenty of product and I usually have extra leftover which I’ll apply to his brows using a disposable mascara wand. The dye covers up the grey very well and is indeed permanent, doesn’t fade. I actually tell my dad it looks rly fake when he dyes it super dark like that with no grey in sight, but he is clinging to his youth lol. One thing I really like about this product is there’s no strong scent like there usually is in Women’s hair dye. That was one thing I remembered hating about dying my hair when I used to dye it, and my dad is sensitive to smells so I’m sure he appreciates it too.

My personal honest review of Just 4 Men Hair dye

I've purchased Just 4 Men hair dye shampoo for many years. but I've read numerous complaints the initial formula has changed and the color doesn't last as long or in my case now fades within two weeks. Hence I have to purchase it more often. That said, the cost should be reduced, but instead is higher, which possibly resulted in less sales as fewer stores are selling it now. If you're going to purchase the Just 4 Men hair dye shampoo, know Walmart's retail price is a dollar or two less than some other retail stores selling this product, but should they raise the price I will definitely research a longer lasting hair dye shampoo used by professionals that last longer to save maintenance time and money.

Not H-15 Dark Blonde/Lightest Brown Formula

I have been using H-15 Dark Blonde/Lightest Brown for years with good results until now. I quickly put H-15 on my hair as usual and showered 5 minutes later. Was shocked to see my hair was shoe polish black. My skin was extremely stained and so are my towels even after a bleach cycle. I verified the base color label was H-15 in the box. I repeatedly shampooed with a dandruff shampoo and my hair is now a very dark reddish brown. I purchased as a 3 pack but will not be using the other 2 for fear as to what is in the base. color.

Perfect for my Hubs

This hair dye is perfect for my Husband. Admittedly, I will help him out to make sure he gets all areas. He actually uses a secondary applicator bottle and gets two uses out of one box because there is a lot of product for one use. Compared to women's hair dye, this does seem to stain the skin a little more so I'd be sure to get any drips off the skin asap. Hubs is a good sport, and when asked what color hair he has, he quickly answers with H-45 lol

Use If You Want Jet Black Hair

Like some other reviews here and MANY online, this product used to turn your hair dark blonde after 5 minutes. As of summer 2024, it turns your hair jet black after 3-4 minutes.Did they change the formula? Was it expired? Did the instructions change? No to all.Something apparently went haywire at Just for Men / Combe, but if you contact them, don’t expect an explanation or a refund. What they advise you to do is to just keep peroxiding and continuously shampoo your hair to try to undo the damage the, oh and discontinue using certain lot numbers that you already used. That’s it.By the way, you can shampoo your hair 20 times and it will still be much darker than dark blonde. This is permanent black as if you stuck your head into a barrel of Vantablack ink.

Works great for dying brown to black

I'm in my 20s and have been using this just to dye my brown hair (real) black. It has worked fine, but what seemed concerning at first was very small amounts still got washed in following week, and I made sure I used shampoo free of harsh ingredients. But after the 2nd week nothing more ever comes out in the shower. My hair is roughly 5" long and it took 2 boxes to make sure I could get everything. So, works great. Just go a week without washing your hair with shampoo to minimize any dye rinsing out.
