I have used hair coloring products (Original JFM + others) for years and also used Touch of Gray previously. Since I have colored my hair 6-8 times per year for over 10 years, I find it relatively easy to color my hair. My recent experience was frustrating because it seemed like the coloring out of the tube was a lot thinner and runny. I didn't care for the comb included. I left the product on my hair for 10 minutes versus the 5 minutes (starts when 100% complete with application) as instructed. Results were HANDFULS OF GRAY and not touch of gray. The frustration when dealing with a runny product was compounded by the weak gray coverage. Maybe I got a bad batch. This product was not easy to use, did not get rid of desired amount of gray and was messy to apply. I had been using this product for several years with good results. Lately, however, after a couple of weeks, my black color turns a fake brownish shade. If I reapply when this happens, it comes out too dark. If I wait, it looks like a fake dye job. I apply it correctly, according to the instructions, and I use a dye-safe shampoo between uses. Is there anything else that I can do to avoid this? Also, previously, there was a "jet black" color. I never had this problem when I used that color. Is there any chance that you will bring back the jet black option? Additionally, before the "AirActiv" branding, I did not have this problem. Is AirActive just re-branding of the old formula, or was there a formula change? This is the best color for a 68 year old who used to be a dirty blond. Used it for over 20 years but it's getting hard to find. Got some on Amazon a while back but it was 3 to 5 years old. Then I got this one from Walmart and it was less than one year old. FYI: It is only potent for 2 years. So check the expiriation date stamped on top of the box. The first two numbers is the year.
Purchase also involved check out with Pharmacy. They had trouble giving me my extra awards credit, and basically said, "too bad", we're not able to figure it out. It was a big purchase and would have amounted to a big discount. What incompetence... unexpectable... very disappointed.

The GX seemed easier but not great coverage unless I used very frequently and seemed to get blotchy dark areas etc. My new Barber said stop using it. It doesn't look good. I went back to Touch of Gray, My Barber said what did you do it looks great? So I use it about every 2 weeks On day of haircut (#6 blade on sides) short on top and then 2 weeks later which takes me to next haircut 2-3 weeks. I don't use the Comb I don't use enclosed oversized plastic gloves (too Messy) I use latex gloves apply it all over and wipe off any that gets on skin with tissue. You just eliminated anyone who wants to have that color without being noticed, because the new product produces a much darker, almost blackish brown color. Perhaps consolidation wasn't such a great idea.If the old product wasn't one of your top sellers and you were worried about store shelf space, you could still offer the product online.I think whoever suggested eliminating the old product needs to find another line of work. Business savvy certain isn't one of their talents.
I have sensitive skin (the type prone to rashes andbreakouts if exposed to the sun in what is considerednormal periods of time for others) and struggled to finda sunblock that worked for me. For me, this sunblockworks, it goes on like a lotion and leaves no whitestreaks behind. A huge bonus was that it focused onnot making my skin greasy-- a major issue I've had withother brands. It also didn't leave my face burning likeother sunblock brands (the upper lip burn was bad,ya'll).
