Bought this product 6 months ago. Unbelievably loud running noise when you play a dvd. Now it just continuously pauses itself every couple of minutes and ejects the dvd at random intervals without notice. Absolute ripoff.

I brought this tv just as something to use until i can afford something bigger, and this is a great little tv. Clear quality picture, great sound, has a dvd player attached, usb ports, hdmi ports. Only thing is it is not a smart tv so i have to connect my playstation just to watch netflix but if your looking for a cute small tv for a kids bedroom or office this is the tv you want.

Purchased in October on special @ $279, as a second for the grand children. Light weight. Easy to assemble feet. Connected to the power and with the press of a couple of buttons within 2 minutes had self programmed. Great sound, good colour.

I purchased 3 for our office, one plays movies off USB all day - AMAZING, vibrant colours! The staff room TV has a great Picture and good sound. DVD player as well! Awesome value!! Fantastic, light weight TV!

I bought this TV from Big W Taigum, in July 2018 to replace a 32-inch tv in the bedroom. After changing the picture settings with the remote control, the TV gives a brilliant, clear picture. The DVD player works fine but I have the TV connected to a Sony Blu-ray player which upscales the DVD for better picture quality and the Blu-ray movies are stunning on the screen. The built in DVD player is a nice back up though or for when the TV comes on holidays to provide entertainment on rainy days. This JVC TV came with an “in-home” warranty should I have any problems with it, someone is sent to the home. The sound, picture quality and the DVD player are better than what I have used in cheaper TVs which cost about the same money anyway. Awesome 32 inch TV, has a built in DVD player. Great sounding and has a really good picture. It’s the second one we have purchased for our guest rooms. Highly recommended.
A nice little TV. I don't want a smart TV as I prefer to use a streaming box/stick attached via HDMI and update those every year or two. That way you get a constantly evolving set up, with better technology. I love the latest 4K Max Firestick for this purpose. The TV turns on quite fast with the firestick in place. It has lots of HDMI ports (3) and plenty of other connections too. The main problem is the sound quality, which isn't very good. Easily solved, I connected nice quality speakers and all is good. I also dislike big TVs, so this TV is ideal for a small cottage. Pair it with a Firestick or Chromecast and you have a nice setup for 2023.

My last tv was a Dick Smith tv and I would have gotten another of them if they still existed. It was also the same price but was brilliant quality and maybe twice as heavy, very difficult for me to lift. This JVC one is light as a feather but lacks quality. I also can't get the colours on the screen right to anywhere near what I like. I will say I like the EPG that it has, and it contains all the program info, which my last tv didn't. Also, I was impressed when I plugged in my hard drive to find all the programs I recorded on my old tv are compatible and play easily on this JVC brand. But the last three days have been nice and almost perfect reception. Amazing. I guess I can live with tinny sound for these other advantages. Maybe I can get external speakers to improve the sound quality.
I brought this in September 17 . It’s had a few issues with a loud noise and rejection of dvds when using that feature. This is not our main television , just for kids movies. It wasn’t even used daily. However it’s now completely stopped working at only 6 months out from warranty end. In total we’ve had it approximately 18 months. Very disappointed in spending what is a big amount of money for us on something that should last longer.
