I got one of these along with one in the medium size and it are great. There is one thing I would like to point out. The small one has a place for the bird to sit and eat but the medium one does not have that making it harder for the bird to eat the food while its in the cup. That means the bird will pick up the nutriberrie and carry it to her sleep area. Her sleep area and her special play place is a bird bath it is made like a small cage which makes it great for hanging toys in and also for the fluffy sleep corner I got her from Northern Parrots and it gives her an extra space where she can rest her feet and sleep so its not good to have all the food in there. But this small one is great so you dont have food all over the place.

I have used the JW Clean Cup for a number of years. The large one is a perfect size for my African grey parrot. I have two in his cage, one for his dry food and one for his water. The cover means the contents are kept clean and dont get contaminated by other food etc. It also prevents him from scooping out his food or water, something he did regularly with open containers. Id happily recommend the JW Clean Cup to anyone.

This is perfect for keeping food and water clean. Its specially good, for times you have to go away on holiday or business. I bought the small one for my love bird. I will be going away for few days and needed to know her water would stay clean. It not only works well to keep water clean but it also acts as a toy. My love bird loves grawling at it . Its simple, very sturdy. However I will say that the small version of this is very very small. My lovebird can barely fit next to it and drink from it . I have female cinnamon lovebird, which are smaller then your average peach face. This would not be suitable for anything bigger then a, Canary, budgie or small lovebird.

I went through 5 products before trying this one out. I wish I would've found this product sooner rather than later. I love this water container! Easy to assemble and attach. Easy to detach for water refills and maintenance. I like the snap, lock in feature for security measure. The design of it definitely prevents the water from being contaminated from bird droppings. Reasonably priced. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this product!
Nice Feeder Cup, for smaller birds. Keeps the mess contained. I actually needed to use this for a larger dove, who did not appreciate the plastic top...so I removed it and just used the base for that bird. But this would be EXCELLENT for smaller birds, parakeets, etc. Holder did fit my cage, and if you install it close to a door, is pretty simple to remove for cleaning. I used it in a cage and feestanding on a shelf, in aviary. Much better attached to wall, as it tips over when freestanding. Great feeder/ waterer.
My bird pretty much snobbed this thing. She went on a food strike for nearly half the day (when I gave up and replaced it with her old dish so that she'd get some food in her body). I really thought she'd eventually get hungry enough to explore it for food. I even put her favorite treat inside with no luck, not to mention I put her old dish next to it with a tiny amount of food and she still wasn't inspired to go anywhere near it. Unfortunately, she was not at all thrilled or slightly interested in giving it a chance! She does prefer her food easily accessible, so maybe she didn't like the design of the cup and perch. Her old dish was more shallow, wider, and closer to the floor of her cage.So I decided to exchange this for the bird crock instead... and for the ... MoreMy bird pretty much snobbed this thing. Her old dish was more shallow, wider, and closer to the floor of her cage.So I decided to exchange this for the bird crock instead... and for the price, it seems like a more worthwhile (and more aesthetically appealing) choice for her "preferences." It's just funny how she did NOT like this cup and didn't want to be near it, let alone share her cage with it. It's a real mystery to me as to why exactly, but if she really doesn't like it, that's good enough reason for me not to. At least I won't have to worry about her not eating or putting up a fight with me over it.
The feeder does a great job at keeping a mess at bay. I'm using them for water and seed for my cockatiel, which is a dusty, messy bird and the feeders have nearly gotten rid of the seed mess and kept her water nice and clean! My main complaint is that these seem to be advertised for cockatiels, but there's no way a cockatiel would be able to get to the feeders without a perch. The top domes are big and slippery and not conducive to a cockatiel trying to climb to them from the cage bars. The bird is too tall to perch on the edge of the cup. As long as you make sure to provide a perch so the bird can access the cups , then you should be good. As long as you don't mind providing a scoop and perch , I'd say these are a good purchase. All in all- they do their job-- they keep the mess at bay!
This bird feeder stays put, is easy to remove and fill. It comes with a hood to reduce seed scatter. I'm sick of my birds getting inside the bowl and just kicking the seed all over the place. I've been in search of an adequate feeder. Previous feeders that I purchased were the silo type and I had to constantly fill them as they wouldn't hold enough seed. Also, they didn't stay securely attached to the side of the cage. I had to wire them on securely, which didn't work out too well. I bought two, and these are grand.
These seed/water cups are mess and time savers. I had been using open cups for feeding my 8 finches and cleaning up the mess twice a day. With these cups I clean up maybe every other day. The only thing to watch out for is when finches are eating they fill the top over the remaining seed with hulls then can not get to seed below and they could starve. I feed twice a day and blow the hulls out of the cups and put the remaining seed into an open bowl and refill small feeder cups with new seed. The large cups are what I use for water and finches love their water. They have taken baths in these cups but at least water isn't splashed everywhere. I do have a bird bath for them but they dirty that water and I think that is why they use the water cups sometimes.
I like the fact that it has a cover, protects water from dust falling in the water. Only wish inside where cover conects to the cup had a smooth surface. Adding vitamins to water, next day feels a bit slime/greasy in cup. Washing would be easier in that area.
