I’d love this little ball and my Chiweenie seems to love it to the only problem I found is the loose part that came inside the ball was very easy to remove, which could’ve been a choking hazard for my little dog. That was the only concern and the reason for four stars. But I love that it’s easy to get the ball out of her mouth as she likes to play tug-of-war, the holes really help with that. And the ball has a nice scent. I just suggest removing the inner loose piece before allowing your pup to play with it.

I have a pit mix, so a strong and aggressive tugger and chewer.PROS:- This ball is durable. I've only had it a couple weeks but given the price and how fast she has torn apart more expensive toys, it's already a durable toy.- It does double duty because it's a ball AND she likes it for tugging. (But that's also a con, see below...)CONS:- Because of the big holes and how the ball can squish together, if your dog wants to use it for tug, you have to be very careful with your fingers. You have to put your fingers inside the ball, and then if your dog adjusts her grip, she's re-biting into the ball! Our dog LOVES tug with this ball, but once she gets going we have to redirect to a different toy where our fingers are safer.- My dog's teeth often get stuck ... MoreI have a pit mix, so a strong and aggressive tugger and chewer.PROS:- This ball is durable. The structure is just narrow/squishy enough to get stuck between teeth and she can't release the ball from her mouth. This is the big one to me since I understand that arguably I shouldn't allow my dog to tug at all with this toy, but I cannot allow her to play with this ball at all unsupervised because of it getting stuck in her mouth.

My puppy absolutely loves these hol-ee balls and has 2 small, one large and one medium. We also have the football shaped. He loves rolling two at a time!We have had them for several months and are still in good shape. My puppy destroys chew toys in one day but these he really just rolls and pushes around, great exercise for him.I also love that he can carry the ball too he seems to find that a plus too. Very satisfied

Honestly, my dog is little (Yorkie) and initially she was afraid of the JW Hol-ee Roller! But that was short-lived. To get her going I found some treats just the right size and stuffed them in the holes. Well you know, anything to do with treats has to be good! That got "the ball rolling"! No pun intended. Now it is one of her favorite toys. It's great because she usually wants me to interact with her with her toys but this one she is content to play with herself. The way it is designed she can basically throw it in the air herself then chase after it. I no longer put treats in it. So far she hasn't been able to chew it up but if that should ever happen I hope they are still on the market because I will have to replace it. They would make great doggie gifts too. We may have to give some to her friends! Sophie definitely highly recommends the JW Hol-ee Roller. It's more fun than a barrel full of monkeys!
These balls are really great. You can hide treats in them, play games with the dogs and most importantly, they appear to be virtually indestructible even with heavy chewing/use. We had our previous one for 5 years. The only reason I had to buy a new one was because we lost the previous one, it was still going strong, it has just gone to the island with all the lost socks!P.S. Also less of a tripping/falling hazard as they collapse underfoot if you accidentally stand on them.
I have a 13 year old poodle very tiny she is in love with the balls you make. For the past 10 years I've collected like 15 of them she plays with all of them and every two months I go out and buy her a new one. I put it in my pocket before I walk in the door and she runs straight over to my pocket and starts screaming to get it she can smell it from far away it's unbelievable. When she wakes up 7 in the morning the first thing is to take her ball and then all day long she plays with the ball the new one or the other ones even when she eats she puts it next to her food eats her food and then takes the ball again and all night long plays with the ball. That ball is her life. Nice safe balls, no choke risk. Thought to start with they were a too big for my cavalier King Charles spaniels, but they have great fun with them. They can carry them around as they are light or KP just roll around the floor. Good indoor play when it is rolling as unlikely to break anything being so light. Will definitely buy again. Very good price also.
I have 3 bulldogs, from a 150lbs to a 30 lb puppy, so we are experts on rugged and strong toys. We have several JW toys because they hold up through all the jaw strength of a Bulldog and the hours and hours of play. The puzzle balls are our favorites because you can stuff anything from treats to other toys inside and they will play for hours with them, plus they still bounce all around. So the puppy is especially fond of one of the balls that is about 5 years old and has been buried, frozen in the pool, left outside for weeks, covered in mud, played tug, toss, fetch and more. It still plays fine but just looks dirty, so I tried to clean it, washer-twice, dishwasher-twice, scrubbed it and soaked in bleach. Still plays fine but still looks dirty, so I said I’ll just buy a new one. I bought this wobbler one in a nice bright lime green. I let her pick it out in the store to make sure she would make the trade.Got home she loved it tossed it and ran all over the living room playing with it. A couple hours later I went to put her new hedgehog treat inside it and found she had already chewed the entire end off and went back to playing with the old ball. I included photos so you could actually see her going back to the ugly looking one. If you don’t mind spending $20 for a couple hours worth of play then go right ahead. ((On the other hand the original round red puzzle ball still going strong))
this toy is not meant to be bitten. My puppy broke through it on the second bite and then I was left picking up all the pieces before she swallowed them. It's the weakess toy I've bought so far. Save your money. I only gave it 1 star becasue there wasn't an option for zero stars. I wrote customer service a note and attached my receipts for a refund, and they wrote back that "no dog toy is indestructible" have a nice day.
