It is a magician's hat. If the bird pulls one of the chains (below the hat), a white rabbit comes out of the hat. If the other chain is pulled, a yellow bird comes out instead. It's easy to attach to the cage and it has a nice mirror. In my experience, parakeets love mirrors and chains. I bought this for a new bird but he or she hasn't played with it, yet. Maybe soon? I hope so. I love to spoil my pets.

My budgies are usually afraid of new toys, but as soon as I placed this in the cage, they started playing with it pretty quickly.

My bird LOVES this toy!!!! He has more fun pulling the bunny and chicken from the hat than the dangle things to make them pop up.
My bird loves new toys, but this one didn't do it for him. He really has no interest in it. I assume because there are not enough shiny parts for him. It is super cute, but my bird just isn't interested.
My cockatiels were curious about this and slowly started to spend more time near it. It became a perch for them and every night they enjoy sleeping on it! They sometimes try to kick each other off because they like it that much. They had babies and they pull the yellow bits and use it like a magic hat but for some reason it's mainly a perch haha.
My parakeet loves this toy! He even sleeps on it
The parts that come out of the hat get stuck and dont move easily
