I'm a huge fan of Kerastase but have never tried this specific line. I have pretty fine, extremely dry highly color treated hair (almost silver blonde). This masque is fabulous. You wash and towel dry, THEN apply the masque for 3-5 min per the directions. My hair is a struggle so I leave it on 20-30 min under a shower cap, wrapped in a towel. When I'm rinsing it out my hair feels like liquid silk. It's very rich and a little will go a long way. My hair length went from mid-back to shoulder-length due to the breakage. I've held back from dyeing since then, and my hair is finally back to mid-back. However, the dryness and damage hasn't seemed to improve much at all. I've tried multiple different leave-on deep conditioners, but this hair mask is something else entirely. I followed the instructions, only applying from mid-shaft down. Immediately after rinsing, I could tell my hair was much smoother than right after using only shampoo and conditioner. The real test came when I ran a brush through it while still wet. I didn't have nearly as many tangles as usual, and I noticed no breakage when brushing.
I have used it a few times already. I was so happy over how easy it is to use. I don't have to wait a long time in order for it to finish doing its thing. I can get it in and out fairly fast as I am super busy. After the very first use my hair felt more hydrated and smooth. I haven't really tried other hydrating masks as I hardly use heat in my hair. After starting a new job I have had to use heat a lot more and have noticed my hair getting more and more dried out. This is a great product to have on hand when I need to add some hydration to my hair! I would have gave it a five star if it smelled a little better to me it smells like a face product with floral scent added. I am totally in love with this hair mask! Before I used it, I used the shampoo in the same product line. I started out with less product than I normally use of my regular conditioners and masks and I'm glad I did because your really don't need that much of it. A little goes a long way. It was easy to apply and spread through the lengths of my hair. I left it on for the recommended 3 to 5 minutes, then rinsed thoroughly (This part is important if you don't want your hair to feel weighed down by any conditioning product).
