Anyone with Kids - this is a MUST look for their helmet. A+!

So I got these for my 10 year old twin girls. Luckily, getting them to wear a helmet isnt THAT hard, as they understand the safety. When we got these though, compared to their old helmets - WOW. Lighter, great fit with the dial on the back to make them snug, and according to my girls - VERY comfortable and also SUPER warm. The adjustments available in the helmet are something we didnt have in their old helmets, and the padded chin strap is a fav as well to keep from pinching. Definitely 100% recommend!

I bought this helmet after 20 years of riding without one. I couldn't be happier. This helmet fit very well and is true to size. After a season and a half of use the helmet still looks new and holds the same comfort. The helmet can be adjusted to fit with the adjustment wheel at the rear. The fleece lining is soft and warm enough to not use a liner but I have always used a liner. My K2 goggles fit snuggly preventing air leaks. The only downside is the padding on the strap can twist around. I would definitely purchase this helmet again.

I was looking for a less expensive helmet that was still warm & comfortable. The Verdict fits the bill. I've been anti-helmet in the past but as I get a little more bold on the mountain it's becoming necessary. Bear in mind I just received the helmet and haven't skied with it yet. I have a 56cm head and the medium in perfect. My wife tried it on, and it fit at the loosest setting, but she thought it would give her a headache after a full day. She measures around 59cm so if you're close to that you may want to get the L/XL. The K2 Dialed Fit System is great. It's basically a BOA system but not quite as fancy. It's one of the main reasons I bought it. I use a Blackstrap Tube and it fits underneith perfectly. I don't think I'll ever need a beanie. I'd definitely reccomend it!

Great value snow helmet, misses the mark for cycling
22 January 2022

I love the concept of this being a snowsport/cycle helmet and felt like they just didn't finish designing it. When you pull out the liner your head sits firmly against the helmet at the sides and top. There's pressure on the top of my head and scratchy velcro right in the middle of my forehead. I see in the description they say the mesh in the lining is part of what provides the proper fit and feel they should have added either a lighter summer liner or basic foam pads to stick to the velcro like old cycle helmets all used to have.I just got this in the mail and not sure yet that I'll keep it. Could be wearable as cycle helmet with another hat underneath.

JUST HOPING FOR A POWDER DAY!
26 December 2018

I bought three. These old snowboard knees are going to treat my two younger nephews to a ski vacation. I choose the black, and designed a great logo to seal this occasion! The helmet fit my football sized nephews noggins -- they loved them on Christmas. And mine. Nice warm fleece material - plush! - Great surface for doing logos on in acrylic or even colored pencils! Safety first, and hoping for a powder day on our vacation! GREAT BUY/GREAT PRICE/FAST DELIVERY - ALEXA - ORDER EVO...

A great helmet for its price. I have been skiing with it for about 3 days now since the season just started, and i haven't had any problems with it. It is very sharp looking and lightweight. It is also very warm with that insulated padding. I have only used it for skiing so far, but i don't plan to use it for biking. I chose the black helmet and it is the nicest looking ski helmet I've had. Would recommend for those skiers on a budget.

Perfect helmet for a bargain price!
9 February 2018

I bought this in white bc it was marked down a TON and I needed to replace my Giro helmet from four years ago since the ear flaps kept falling off. I've used this helmet four times so far and I love it. It's a huge upgrade in comparison to the Giro bc:1) The ear flaps don't impair my hearing, are all one piece so won't become defective, and don't put pressure on my ears that caused me pain with the old helmet.2) The vents are properly placed to not shoot cold air directly at my head even when closed (My Giro helmet did this even with vents closed).3) The chin strap doesn't get twisted and it's a comfortable fit with the dial adjustment. Also, I had first tried the Smith Holt helmet that retails for the same price, but I hated it. The fit was off, the self-adjusting strap felt too tight and the ear flaps were incredibly thick. Seriously.FYI I have no idea about other features, I just look for fit, comfort, and safety for a bargain price. So considering these aspects I highly highly recommend this. For anyone more concerned with appearance, the finish does mark easily. I have a few minor marks already and I'm careful. For sizing, I measured my head at 57 cm and the M is great, I have it dialed in a few clicks.

Sweet bucket
4 February 2019

Looks reasonably slim on my big ol' head. No gaper gap with my K2 goggles (I guess I'd hope it'd fit with their own goggles). Buddy of mine has a no-name helmet from {large web retailer} that cost $10 more than this and the features aren't as nice. This helmet's fit adjustment knob is really nicely integrated into the liner - it's not just hanging out there. There's a soft pad between your chin and the buckle, which is rad. The only feature I'd wish for might be adjustable venting, but for the price, this is a great helmet.

The complete package.
7 March 2018

I am obligated to give this product a 5 star review. Not only did it meet every expectation and need that i had for a helmet In terms of its cost (i would have paid full price for this helmet but got it on sale), its light weight construction, its venting which kept my head a normal temperature, its comfortable fit. This helmet also gets a 5 start review because on the very first day that i wore it, less than one week after it was delivered to me, it flawlessly protected me when i fell and hit the back of my head. My fall certainly woke me up but without this helmet would have put me in the hospital with a concussion for sure. Thanks to this helmet, after a short break, i was able to continue riding and having fun. Thank you K2 for an excellent product.

sizing strikeout/do not expect to actually use this for both ski and bike
7 November 2019

I measure my head at 53.5 cm around, which should put me right in the middle of sizing for this helmet. However, with the lining in (for ski,) it is too tight, and with the lining out (for bike) it is too loose.People keep asking in the questions if the lining really comes out because it seems permanently attached. I've tried to explain it there, but I can add photos here. photo 1: diagram in instruction manual. photo 2: detached ear piece inside lining. photo 3: helmet ear area showing where ear piece inserts. You really do just pull firmly. Those little dimples click in and out.
