But my cats had gotten to the point where they would do other things before eating and leave their meal multiple times. Now they rush to the bowl and hunker down until it's clean. They enjoy the chunks very much, and it's definitely closer to natural eating than crunching tiny dry shards. Sometimes they don't eat all of their vegetables, but what they leave behind is negligible, especially compared to the amount of kibble they happen to leave behind if I added any. My kitties have finally graduated dry food school. Now to see if the food will last as long as I thought... One downside is yes, the food is dehydrated, but it doesn't really expand much once it's hydrated. It probably gains the weight to be 9 lbs, but then again, I am feeding two cats. I also found the meat and veggies to be pretty balanced in the pack, so there wasn't need to separate anything out or to really shake the bag, but that was also an option.

I had been feeding my dogs with this food for about a year until they had bloody diarrhoea. One of my dogs was admitted to ICU due to HGE. I think high levels of fat in the food has caused gut issues in my dogs. Not planning to purchase it ever again.

My shih tzu has become the fussiest eater. I've had so much difficulty enticing her to consume any meal until I bought the lamb topper. I couldn't believe my eyes, and she enjoyed her meal so much she was looking for another helping. I highly recommend this product.
