If I could give the product 0 stars I would. I've probably been using Kal stevia for over 10 years. I believe I am literally addicted to the product. I wasn't thrilled when they added the maltodextrin but it still tasted good to me and they claimed it was non GMO corn derived maltodextrin. I have gotten to love the taste in my coffee. I probably went through 4 bottles a month. I recently bought a bottle and noticed they filled it to the brim and it usually was only about 2/3s full. Great I thought...until I tasted it. Basically the product now only has the bitter taste and no sweetness. It's like they took all the sweetness out of the product. It's basically worthless and tastes like crap...unusable. A Little Goes A Long Way!

Was looking for a sugar alternative that was as close to the taste of sweetness as sugar and had to be ORGANIC. Kal use to be my favorite liquid stevia until they put maltodextrin in it and I quite using it. Finally they came up with a powered version that was organic without the maltodextrin in it so I gave it a try. For starters, a little does go a long way. You only have to use one scoop of the white powder to sweeten any drink. I love the taste of sweet so I use 2! :-) It sweetens pretty well but there is still a slight bitter after taste, not too horrible but it's there. Notice: This stevia doesn't bake well at all! Tried baking with it and the taste was just horrible, but for drinks it does pretty well especially hot drinks. I gave it 4 stars because in cold drinks I have a hard time getting it mixed up in my cold drinks. It can be a bit challenging at times, you really have to stir, poke and stir some more to get it all dissolved and the other reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think this version would do better in a liquid form to help with the issue of dissolving. Now..... if Kal would only create a organic stevia that's good for baking!

Best Stevia I Have Found

Not sure why recent reviews are so bad. I used kal for over 10 years and decided to switch after the company changed the formulation to include maltodextrin. After doing a lot of research I tried products from Stevia Select and Trader Joes. Both products required at least twice as much stevia, and still seemed to lack the sweetness when compared to kal. They were ok for smoothies, but not sweet tea. I use a combination of stevia, xylitol, and a small amount of sugar to sweeten tea. I finally decided to go back to kal, and was pleasantly surprised to find that maltodextrin is no longer an ingredient. I waited to post this review to make sure the stevia is as sweet as I remembered. Disappointed

This is probably my 3 container of Kal stevia that I have purchased over maybe 12 years. It was highly recommended to me and I really enjoyed the previous two containers and agreed with the recommendation. One scoop was all I needed in my cup of coffee and perfectly sweetened it. However, this last container I purchased, I am extremely dissatisfied with the product. Now I need 2 scoop/spoonfuls of the stevia to get the same sweetness. Additionally, I feel that it doesn’t mix well into the beverage like it had previously. I kept giving this container of stevia a try, but this morning I became so disappointed with this product with having to add another scoop to my coffee that I feel compelled to write a review. Excellent!

I have tried many stevia brands but this one is by far the tastiest and strongest. You just need to get the “dose” right. I don’t know why it is so hard to produce good quality stevia. It lasts a long time and the measuring spoon is perfect for getting only the serving you need. Great substitute for sugar. Great quality ingredients!

Excellent! Tiny Dose = 1 tsp sugar.

This product is great - a high-quality pure stevia with no fillers at a very good price. I use it as a replacement for sugar. Due to the fact it is pure, the amount you need is tiny which can make getting the right amount of sweetness a bit hard - it is very easy to overdo! But if you want stevia with no added cornstarch or other fillers, you do get used to figuring out how much to use.bI recommend this product for anyone wanting to reduce their sugar intake.

FOR THAT EXTRA BURST OF "SWEET"

I've used this stevia for years. Its a a wonderful addition to granola, to lemonade, or to a cookie or cake recipe when using coconut sugar. You don't need much. Use it sparingly. In small amounts there's no bitter aftertaste.

Got Me Off Sugar

Stevia is a great healthy alternative to sugar. That said, there are many brands and forms of stevia out there. One of the biggest criticisms of the product is a lingering aftertaste. Organic KAL Stevia is not only a powerful and pleasant sweetener but it does not alter the taste of anything you put it in and has no aftertaste. KAL changed its formula a few years ago which caused it to be difficult to dissolve. But the organic version remains unchanged and is superior to the regular “Sure” version.

KAL Stevia Sure Tastes Terrible Now!

I used KAL Stevia Pure for over ten years. I ordered a new bottled without noticing Pure had been changed to Sure. However, I did notice it Sure was terrible! I found out they changed the formula and/manufacturer, but why did they change the name to Sure. Very deceptive. My tongue is burning and my teeth are aching. I threw it away and notified Amazon.com.

Still not the original

I was a long time KAL stevia user until they added the maltodextrin. I was so disappointed they had changed the product, I stopped buying it. I would occasionally check on it to see if they had changed it back. So recently when I checked on it, I saw that the label no longer said that it had maltodextrin added. It was back to just saying "none" under other ingredients, so I took a chance and ordered a bottle. It's still not the same as the original. I find it hard to believe there is no filler in this product. It takes 3-4 times as much to sweeten my coffee as it used to, and it doesn't dissolve as well as the original. I have to take the back of my spoon and press it against the side of my mug to get the small clumps to dissolve.
