Kamado Joe KJ-TISSERIENA Classic Joe JoeTisserie

It is a simple design, that just pops on the Komodo. The motor clips on or off which is really good. High quality stainless steel. Roasted a chicken to test, wow really good. Set and forget, no burnt food. I would say a bit pricey, but I would buy again. Cannot wait for next Christmas roast. Do some googling to learn how to stack the charcoal on the side.

Do you really need it? YES

Out of all the accessories I have this one is used the most. I just bought the basket so I can't wait to try that out.From roasting a whole duck or chicken, prime rib, or doing Mediterranean chicken this accessory is very versatile. I have seen pictures of doing fish in the new basket but have not been able to do that.Is it necessary, no. But if you want to switch it up and try something new that is relatively easy and makes you more involved in the cook then this is for you. I recommend watching a few "how to" videos first.As with most of KJ products you will not be disappointed.

Great accessorie

Think about impressing the family with a JoeTisserie turkey for Thanksgiving. I did, and it turned out amazing. Now, I'm not only doing it only for Thanksgiving either. I enjoy making JoeTisserie chickens on my Kamado Joe Classic III. I also got the baskets and use them for wings. The speed of the motor is great, and the quality of the JoeTisserie is high. It's very well made and will be making many turkeys, chickens, roasts, wings, etc. to come.

Life changing way to roast chicken

I have been using this for many years now and I have to say its the best way to roast a chicken, we no longer buy them at the store we always do our own. It does not stop there, I have done ham, roast beef and paired with the basket the possibilities are endless. My specialty with the JoeTisserie and Basket is wings and they do not disappoint. The neighbors come running to grab a wing, if I am on the deck with a drink in hand they are standing next to me for that hot off the grill wing.

Makes the Big Joe even more versatile

I bought this wanting to recreate my favorite rotisserie chicken recipe. This delivered and then some. I didn't realize how many things you can make on the JoeTisserie. I've done whole chickens, chicken schwarma, Ribeye roasts, leg of lamb and chicken wings (in a basket) and they have all come out tasty better than restaurant quality. I love how easy the setup is and how easy it is to clean. Highly recommend looking at a JoeTisserie if you don't have one.

Shaft didn’t fit on the motor.

The square rotisserie shaft wouldn’t fit into the motor. I had to file the square end down and then use a mallet to make it fit. Unfortunately, this issue wasn’t identified until I was attempting to put my trussed turkey on the grill. Here I was raving about my new rotisserie to my friends only to be embarrassed by the ordea. Apparently the one I got didn’t have the tolerances checked. It still isn’t a great fit. Unless I hear from customer service soon. I will be returning it.

Smoky, crunchy, wings

I just picked up the Joetisserie around Black Friday and finally set it up for Super Bowl Sunday and let me tell you, those were some of the best wings I’ve ever had! I used a Napoleon basket about 1/4 full of wings over 450 for 20 minutes. None of the wings stuck together, they all had a nice char on them and none were burned, just perfectly cooked.The only knock is the cast aluminum bracket that holds the motor breaks easily. My wife bought me the classic sized Joetisserie a few years ago and before I could exchange it the motor bracket broke.

So Versatile

The JoeTisserie was my first accessory and it has been wonderful to have. I have used it for roasts, whole chickens, turkey, picanha, chicken wings and a Fireball infused pineapple! I use a Napoleon basket with it as the Kamado Joe basket wasn't out yet at the time of purchase. The JoeTisserie is easy to install and use and it just gives another tool to make some outstanding food. I highly recommend it to every Joe owner!

The best turkey I've ever tasted.

Oh my gosh, I love this gadget along with the basket accessory. My first use was to make a rotisserie chicken, and the smell was amazing. The whole neighborhood must have been drooling over this smell. The taste was fantastic. Better than any I'd ever had. I then upped the ante and decided to roast a turkey breast, the one where they have the whole ribcage and just remove the wings and legs. OMG, I'll never do turkey any other way! I've baked, fried, and smoked turkeys for years, chasing the perfect method for cooking. I've finally found it. I do not kid when I say I'll never cook turkey any different than with my Joetisserie.

Very Disappointing Customer Service

I purchased my JoeTisserie directly from KJ. I love how it works and what I can do with it. That being said, I am so disappointed in the customer service that I received as part of the purchasing process.My JoeTisserie had a noticeable scratch in the enamel coating right near where the motor attaches. I saw the scratch right out of the box. While, it doesn't effect the performance of the unit, I paid a lot of money for it and would expect it to be perfect and not have to worry that it might rust or something in the future. I will include a photo.It took several weeks and a number of messages to get someone to respond to my concern. Eventually they simply said "too bad" ... that's just the way it is.
