Not a single point on this product page, packaging, or manual states that 12 inch studs are required for this product. If you have 18 inch stud spacing, this product will not work.I wish this was written down ANYWHERE so I could have avoided this product and bought a mount that is wide enough for 18 inch studs. Why the manufacturer didn't specify this is beyond me, but I only realized after I was about to hang onto the wall. Can't wait to return a bunch of ripped up packaging to bestbuy because this product doesn't state 12 INCH STUDS ARE REQUIRED.

We just received this in the mail yesterday. Trying to install it is a pain. The part where the TV mounts to comes with hex bolts that should be easily removable with a tiny metal wrench that comes with the box, as per the instructions!. Except the inside of the hex bolts are covered with a blue adhesive that makes it way too tight for the wrench they give you, to the point you're going to need either a socket wrench and some luck, or you literally have to use a hammer to smack the opposite end of the wrench just to un-screw and re-screw the bolts. Couldn't they have made this more user friendly to install ourselves?

I like this mount. The movement on it is good. It's nice and sturdy. You can even hang a larger than recommended TV off of it. The cardboard cutout guide is nice. Better than the paper ones you often get, or no guide, which is common too.You absolutely have to have a socket wrench though, 10mm and 13mm I think it was. The little wrench they include is entirely useless, it does not have enough leverage to even undo the existing bolts. It would be nice if they instead gave you two with a longer handle so you could have leverage. For those that don't have a wrench to use, or maybe don't have they right socket size.I found the install relatively easy. The hard part was deciding the height and position based on the available studs. After that, level everything out, mark some spots, drill some holes. If you're not quite happy with the height, you can adjust it slightly by altering the bracket on the back of the TV, but not by that much. I will say this, the bracket assembly is more stable than others I've used where the TV just hooks in and isn't fastened down further.I would recommend this bracket if you need the full motion.

When I opened the box there was a tiny screw loose in the box. I didn't find the screw on the hardware list so I just continued on, following the video instructions and manual. However, it turns out the little screw was needed to keep the TV level and to top it off, a second tiny screw fell to the floor. Neither could be screwed back into place. I suspect the holes are stripped of any threading as the screws themselves look to be in good shape. I put a clamp on the rail that was sliding around and the tv is level now. I am not looking forward to yank the 85 inch TV off the wall to repair it. I will have to send an email to Bestbuy or Kantos to obtain the parts I need. That's not something I contemplated when buying this.
I Ordered a wall mount for my 86 inch television and Bol 700 sound bar. It came at a very surprising time fashion it was very easy to put together. I am very pleased with it. I’ll be ordering the same hook up for 50 inch for my bedroom soon
This mount was easy to install for the most part. I consider my self more on the tech-y side than the handy side, so the installation video on the manufacturer website was insanely helpful. It was current info, and applied directly to what I was installing.I was able to measure a million times, "cut once," and my mount and TV are level and flush to the wall. The articulation on the mount is pretty stellar--as advertised, extends over 2 feet, so perfect for when I have to get behind the TV to do some work, or pan it over to workout with the Peloton app on my elliptical.Great product all around!
Yes it holds the tv. Im not confident for how long..... soooo tempted to take this down. It was just so much work mounting it.There is no way to make the tv sit without having a tilt forward. The top glows nicer than the bottom.
Excellent mount. It was easy to install. I mounted it center / center before I had the tv 85” SamsungWhen the tv arrived I noticed I could not vertically mount the tv bracket center of tv because the mounting holes in the bracket would not allow it. Had to remount the wall mount to position tv properly if I had waited until I had the tv there would have been no issue. This is a solid mount with excellent range of motion. Love it
Easy maneuverability and rigid. This would be a 5-star rating, but I had to swap the original hardware to ensure the top bracket wouldn't dislodge when moving the TV from left to right. I realized the issue when repositioning the TV, 55" Vizio. It slid horizontally, and the elongated bracket stayed in place. I thought, a couple screws and nuts, no worries; see photos.
Really impressed with this product. It arrived very neatly packed, looked very professional. Instructions were good enough, I liked the template for drilling holes. Screws are impressively meaty giving good confidence this will outlast the drywall. Our studs were more like 26" apart but happily the product is wide enough to encompass that.We put a 47" TV up so obviously no chance it's going to droop as it's at the lower end of the spectrum. We push it against the wall when we're alone, but extend it out if there's more viewers as there's a fireplace in the way. It's showing no signs of wear from constant repositioning. Already have recommended this product to a friend.
