I like the ‘quick attatch and release’ format of this accessory. This glider allows smooth travel over carpets to give them an easy and efficient steam refresh.

Love the effectiveness of this glider, it slips on and off with ease but very secure while in use, it does a great job of sanitising the carpets and leaves a lovely fresh smell, thank you.

Carpet Glider

Does what the specifications state: carpet cleaner in between using deep carpet cleaners. This machine uses plain tap water to clean and sanitize hard floors & surfaces. Carpet glider is an accessory to use on carpets; not meant to clean pet odors or hard stains. Not a cheap machine considering the accessories needed. Overall, you need to decide what you're willing to pay for a cleaning machine. Will not recommend if you want an all inclusive tool.

Carpet Glider Workd

The attachment makes steam cleaning a carpet a breeze. My carpets are mostly low pile, but the glider also worked on a wool rug, Definitely worth the money.

Karcher carpet glider

You can use the Karcher steamer without a glider but I have to say it is much easier with one. Does what it says on the tine really: glides over the carpet. I would recommend one.

Nice piece of accessory

The wonderful design of the glider gave you a perfect match with Karacher's steam mop for using on carpet. It provided a very smooth glide and movement of your steam mop over the carpet and got the carpet steamed. If anyone wants to use Karacher steamer for cleansing carpet, this piece is a must. Of course, a compatible model should be in-line.

Shouldn't have to buy one

The steam cleaner was advertised as a home cleaner. Most homes have carpets, so having paid about £199.99 for the cleaner I was very surprised that I then had to buy the glider separately.The cleaner box should state that it can be used on hard floors only.The following ratings on irritation value only as the cleaner itself is easy to use.

Unnecessary Purchase

I bought this as a useful addition to my SC 3 Upright EasyFix purchase. On receipt I found that it was identical to the glider already supplies with the cleaner. Thinking it was a dispatch mistake I contacted Karcher who confirmed my order was correct & that they were the same part. Why are people led to beleive that they need a Carpet Glider when one is already supplied. I wish to return the 'spare' glider for a refund.Photo attached is what I sent to their service department.

works as expected

The carpet glider works as expected. Extremely disapointed that it isn't included as standard with the machine and other accessories. Most homes have carpets as well as hard floors and when reading up, the carpet glider is included in the reviews, so would expect it to be included in the minimum kit that comes with the machine as standard.
