Used the wand to start with but leaves little foam and doesn't clean car on recommended soft setting. Switched to brush mode, which then by-passes soft settings and uses ALL of the remaining shampoo. Car wasn't clean even after that. It is white, so shows everything, but results were poor. Leathered off nicely however to leave a good streak free and shining car. Expe tations were higher re cleaning power so will give the snow foam a try. Understand Auto Glym is good. If not, it's back to hand washing and using the K4 for pre and post rinses.

I purchased this so as I would be able to refill the Karcher Connect And Clean Ultra Foam Kit (one bottle comes with the kit) which I had also just purchased. I've used part of the bottle that came with the kit and I must say I'm very impressed, although I did go 'over the top' with the foam settings and thus wasted quite a bit. I cleaned two cars, and at my age and health that was quite a feat. I still have half of the original bottle left. After foaming I let it stand for a little while and then pressure washed it off; I was really impressed with the job it done. I think it's a good product and does just what it's been made for.

Used this for first time today and was disappointed. Just like the foaming wash from karcher that I used previously I followed instructions and vehicle started showing residue which I had to use towel on to dry it off. For the time it takes to get my washer ready and to put it away I still prefer using meguars in a bucket with a sponge. My water is soft so think residue is from the cleaner itself. I’d love to see someone from Karcher show me the proper way with my vehicle
Bought this shampoo for the karcher K4. Read the instructions, and watched a YouTube on how to work it.Went over the car with a high pressure setting, then mixed in the shampoo and gave it a coat. Left for a few minutes to sink in then hosed it off. As per the instruction, I decided on the optional second coat so repeated the process.Let the car dry a bit and went out with a shammy.... The wash hadn't even removed the dusty fingerprints from the boot lid. Dust that you can wipe off with a finger still on the car. Had to get a bucket and sponge out and wash it by hand, the shampoo made absolutely no impact on the dirt what so ever.
Applied using K5 on mix setting, but then race to brush the whole car before it dries (taking care to frequently clean brush in water or you’ll just scratch dirt into the paint)… before rinsing off….. yes it leaves a nice shine apart from the bits you missed with the brush in your rush… marketing on bottle gives the impression it does it all without any labour…Used this on large suv, small suv, and supermini… and bottle now empty!…. Was expecting it to last longer than that.Basically stick with shampoo stick in car wash brush attached to hosepipe…. Cheaper, quicker and does a better job
Only bought the K5 Home and Car machine this week,thought it would be cheaper for washing the Cars,I used the jet wash with the Bottle and hardly used any soap,used it on my partners car with the Brush attachment and the bottle ran out before we finished.Not impressed expensive,and would have been cheaper to go to a petrol station and use the Car Wash. Other problem also is the long hose it keeps getting tangled up had to keep unwinding it. Other than that the machine worked fine. But time may tell as this was it's first use.
The detergent is good - when applied with a sponge - as there seems to be no flow from the bottle to my powerwasher. This is a special shape that only fits Karcher Powerwashers, and while it fits mine, it doesn't flow to the hose. It just sits in the bottle and the level never drops. It may be a fault with the machine - B&Q's special offer allegedly with 50% off - but until a specialist confirms I'm doing things right, I'll just have to apply by hand. The price was excellent though, compared to other suppliers, but as I bought it for the special shape of the bottle to fit my powerwasher, and it doesn't flow through it, I may as well have bought any shape of product and applied by hand. 1litre bottle only did 2 cars! At £7 per bottle might as well go to car wash.I attempted to get some advice from Karcher direct to see if I was perhaps doing something incorrectly but the response was useless, so unfortunately I can’t rate the product in any positive way.On the upside my new washer is a great tool for patios, decking etc but not for the cars I’m afraid….
Washing one car used the entire bottle. Huge waste of money. Will not be buying any more. I thought it would last a while and go much further than one wash for that price!
