A bit annoying to loose all pressure in the nozzle for a few seconds.

After purchasing the Karcher K4 pressure washer i bexame increasingly frustrated at how ofter i had to keep repositioning the pressure washer while washing cars. I purchased this extension hose and now i can leave the K4 in one spot and move more freely around the car. The only downside to this extension hose is that it is very stiff and if you coil it for storage it likes to stay coiled. This resukts in tangles and battling with the hose to straighten. I am storing the hose straightened out now and no more tangled coiling. A good purchase for me.

Does exactly what it is supposed to & an easy way to extend the karcher by 10m.However, there are several negatives about the product which you should be aware of before buying:1) The colour is BLACK not yellow & black as in the Galaxus Photo. Not a big deal for me but I dont like when the photo/information is not correct.2) The connector at one end is extremely large (you can see it in the photo).This means that the extension tube does not fit into my automatic storage roll on my Karcher K4, so after every use I must disconnect the extension & store separately.If you are going to use this regularly (like for washing your car) then this is very annoying.Buying a single 20m hose would be more suitable for regular users.

The hose becomes a bit stiff and unruly when used but I guess it cannot be avoided with high pressure lines. The connectors are good quality although I am a bit worried that the quick-connection will break loose when used and connected. I dare not test this though but I hope Krcher has thought about this. The only backside I notice is that the machine gets very slow to react when I press the trigger with this extension used. It takes a few seconds for the pressure to go down enough for it to start which points to the hose being a bit elastic so it compresses when ressure is released. This extension hose is fantastic. Made the job much easier. Especially when i had to use the ladder.
I ordered this extension hose which works great when washing my 13'6" high RV. and be able to move around without hose restriction. I also thinks it needed to keep the K5 washer in a cleaner area then to close to the wash area, the hose overall is way lighter than my 4000psi x 4 gpm hose and wand. Both have there place.
I use my karcher in my workas a contractor. The K3.68 1800psi serves me well and the K5's performance has not disappointed me. I needed the additional 25ft of hose to reach the tops of the two story homes that I clean. Out of the box it works well. The only drawback is not a built in swivle head.

This one is better than the standard one and being longer is easier to keep untangled. But it still kinks badly and so it suffers some of the same problems. The picture on the site of the hose stretched out easily is not how it is in practice. The picture needs to be much more representative of a coiled hose, as that is how it is. But, much better would be for this to be made in reinforced rubber so something similar (there are plenty of pressure hoses like this around) that can bend easily. After my purchase I connected the extension and began working on removing bird forces. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed 30-40% loss of pressure, so much so that the forces was not lifting as it had prior to attaching the extension.I removed the extension and reattached original hose and pressure returned to max.The issue is....the new hose is larger in diameter, it flows to a bottle neck where the extension and supplied hose clip together then flows to another bottleneck where the supplied hose meets the handle/wand.As there are now 3 such points compared to the previous 2 it makes sense a loss of 1/3 pressure.Disappointed, have to use scrub brush to get poo off, as supplied hose won't reach....so don't waste your cash!
Not only doesn't the pressure washer I bought this for, allow easy use (the pressure hose is hopelessly wound around a spool, which causes infinite coils and buckling, kinks and constraints, but this hose would not connect to my existing hose, no matter which way, no matter how I tried. I'm a 42+ year professional engineer, who can fix ANYTHING. So! i bought the Karcher K4 5 Months ago used the hose pipes on 4 occasion this is due to bad weather couldnt use the pressure washer often. The hose pipe supplied with the machine is not flexible and twists in many places and as a result it had punctured in two places in the hose. i called service centre and sent all proof but they sent a standard reply saying the guarantee does not cover, although when purchasing the machine with the hose comes with a 4 year guarantee.very very dissappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
