Excellent piece of kit and works superbly, although i first of all made the mistake of not clipping the sand tube to the top of the lance. Hint: if you don't do this, water is sucked into the tube and wet sand then blocks it!! This means flushing the tube out with water from a tap, fitting it correctly and everything then works fine. Simple logic really! Don't underestimate the amount of sand you'll need though (dry silver sand from your local builder's merchant).

Bought this to clean a moss covered and discoloured patio, where using water pressure only had failed. Only used it once so far and for a small area, but generally pleased with the result, and will be employing it further once the weather improves. I used sharp sand from a local builders merchant rather than buying the more expensive specialist grit. No problems setting it up, but i took note of comments posted by a previous reviewer and tried to ensure that the horizontal lift from bucket to lance was kept to a minimum.

Used wickes kiln dried sand and works absolutely fine, only slight issue is the suction hose is quite rigid and not particularly long, consequently if you have something above head height to clean it can pull the hose out of the bag/bucket.works great for small jobs not sure i would want to clean a whole patio with it though.4m2 to 8m2 cleaning per 20kilo bag of sand.

Used for soda blasting. Easily stripped entire engine and didn't clog once. No loss of pressure at nozzle after 40kg of media used.
Great product, so much better then dry sandblasting. Many uses.
This attachment is expensive and is not capable of removing the flaking paint from one of my fibreglass fish ponds. The power of my K7 pressure washer appears to be doing the job better. Paint that was applied to change the dull colour of this pond did not hold for more than two years and so I decided to remove it. That was the purpose of buying this sand blasting ad-on. Disappointing - to say the least.
I bought this through the special orders desk after reading the review, waited two weeks, got it home tried it out on an aluminium rod holder for my boat. Sand paper would have been quicker. I used $38 worth of garnet and barely touched the edges of the paint. The nozzle clogged after about an hour and stopped working altogether even though I was using the specified grade of blasting medium. Don't waste your money !
Bought this to assist with the removal of old paint from a metal garden table and chairs. Went to 4 retailers before buying the correct sand as advised in the instructions. Set it all up, nice and easy and started using it. For sure it took off the loose paint but everything else remained. Then spent 45 minutes clearing up all the sand. Resulted in using a wire brush to remove it and the blasting set went straight to the bin. Complete waste of money.
Well built in Germany not cheap chinese like the others that are advertised at lower prices. Backed up by a reputable Company, again not some backyard operator who in some cases ships from China. The blaster attaches easily and is easy to operate and as I have already said everything about this product is very good quality from the fittings to the hoses.
