The Kate Somerville Oil Free moisturizer is fine. Really, it’s not great but it’s not bad either. It has a lotion texture and is scented, but it fades quickly. I hate the push too packaging, though it’s easy to screw the lid off and dip a spoon or spatula into the cream instead. I tried this because I found it at Marshall’s for $13.99, I would not pay the usual $70 price tag for this product.

Best moisturizer for acne prone/oily skin!!!

I've been using this product for over a month. I have acne prone skin. I was so hesitant to try this moisturizer because I'm not familiar with the brand, it's pricey and don't want a moisturizer that's gonna make my skin have a crazy breakout. This product goes on so light and doesn't give me that heavy, oiliness feeling that alot of moisturizers have. Definitely worth the price! Will be buying again.I recommend this to anyone who has acne prone skin and oily skin.

Brilliant product, faulty packaging.

If you oily and you don't like gelly-like creams this cream is a saviour. It has very simple ingredients, but man! Whoever put them together is a pure genius. I've been through 7 bottles so far and yes it's expensive, and yes it's not "a little goes a long way" type of product. And yes, the packaging is a complete disaster (the pump broke almost with every single bottle I've had-you still can scoop it out but it's a mundane process). But I'll keep repurchasing no matter what. It's a perfect product.

Controls oily skin

I've used many moisturizers over the past years. I have combination/oily skin and have had difficulty finding a moisturizer that helps my skin matte all day long. This was recommended by a friend with same skin concerns. You only need a small amount of this product to keep your skin ffeel hydrated at the same time keeping the oilneds at bay. I would recommend it.

Great Product, bad packaging

I’ve been using this product for about a month and a half and I really love it. It’s very lightweight and it’s been good for my skin issues. I have oily acne prone skin. With that being said, the size of the jar is misleading. The sales associate who sold me this only sold it to me because the product I was looking for, which was half the price, was sold out. She convinced me that this would be worth the price because it would last even longer. That’s just not true. After a month and a half of using it in the AM and PM (as suggested) I just ran out this morning. When I opened the jar and removed the top, to my surprise, the product sits on a shallow pan at the very top of the container. I’m extremely disappointed and feel misled. One of the best

One of the best moisturisers on the market for combo - oily skin. It comes in a hygienic, easy to use pump which allows you to get out just the right amount. The product itself is a medium consistency, unscented and glides easily over the skin. It also works well on top of serums. I honestly think you get what you pay for with Kate Somerville products and the oil free moisturiser is a testament to that

Pricey but good

I like a light moisturiser for AM and something richer for PM, so this is great for my morning routine, especially in the summer or when my skin feels a bit oilier or I am treating breakouts. Kate Somerville is one of my favourite brands as it's rare that one of their products disappoints. On the whole I think this is a little too pricey for me for every day but I would recommend it for oilier skin types or those who want something light which is still moisturising and good for wearing under make up. I have sensitive skin but had no adverse reaction, which is also a big plus. It isn't strongly scented either.

Really Great! but awful packaging

Definitely my favourite moisturiser for 38 y/o oily skin, it is a good light consistency, seems to help smooth and doesn't cause spots unlike so many others, while still being gentle and leaving skin feeling soft. However I can't give 5 stars because it is overpriced, as the amount you get in the pot is so tiny, there is a pump system and when I took the lid off I realised that most of the pot is completely empty! Only the top 1/3 has cream in. Seems wasteful on many levels, and is off putting. However I return to it (this is my 4th purchase) because it's really good. Please K8 sort the packaging!

Solid oil-free moisturizer

Really nice moisturizer, especially during the summer. It is unscented, which is a big plus and you need only one to two pumps to get you going for the day. It sits well under the make-up and hydrates the skin. I won't re-purchase, as I have different holy grails in this category, but wholeheartedly can recommend as hard-working and beatiful moisturizer.
