Last year (2020) I purchased the Andulo v2 jacket (in the Khaki colour) as I was looking for something light, but casual, whilst still having waterproof/windproof capabilities. This met all of my needs and has a very smart look.I decided to purchase the black Andulo v3 this year as I wanted variety in my wardrobe (colour wise). This jacket has the same functions I was after as the v2 design. In comparison to v2, there is no inside pocket in this jacket (which is a bit of a disappointment; why would you remove this feature?) and the hood design has changed and is now not tucked into the collar with Velcro tabs to keep it in, which I'm personally not much of a fan of. I prefer the design of v2 with the zip.The v2 felt more like a premium product.I purchased this v3 ... MoreLast year (2020) I purchased the Andulo v2 jacket (in the Khaki colour) as I was looking for something light, but casual, whilst still having waterproof/windproof capabilities. However I don't think I would pay $249.98 for this product knowing what last years v2 design was like. All in all though I am happy with the product. The quality is great and I would still recommend if you are looking for something light with a casual look.Because I have the v2, I would rate the v3 a 3.5/5 stars however from a once off purchase point of view, I have rated this a 4/5 stars.

Does the job.

I purchased this jacket because i was having trouble finding a waterproof jacket in the female range in my size. Its water proof, it will do the job that i purchased it for. Pretty bland, plain, basic design. No extra nice things. I really felt like it should be $100 not $199. I hope the velcro sleeves dont lose their stick like my last one did.

I've been wearing this most of winter and I've been impressed by it.The only improvement I think it would benefit from is replacing the velcro with other fastening methods as eventually the velcro will stop working as well s it does now.Other than that, it keeps me reasonably dry in a downpour, and is good for keeping the wind out too.

Kathmandu Rain Jacket.

The Andulo 2 - Layer Rain Jacket was a very satisfying purchase. The jacket fitted perfectly. The delivery process was outstanding beginning with free postage, up-to-date notification of the delivery process and the date, time of delivery.I have now purchased two of these Rain Jackets, one for a grandson birthday present and one for myself. Excellent buy.

Love this jacket!

Very simple design: as an outer layer to go over your ordinary clothes. Though thin and light, it's warm! The hood is great and sits well over my head: not getting in the way of my vision. Try wearing the hood over a beanie! One zippered pocket each side: as I said, simple design. Packs very small in my Kathmandu Amphi Roll Top 18L backpack. I am big and tall and I was not disappointed by the largest XXXL size. I got the classic black style.

The color is bright, but that was the goal. To be found in this, hopefully alive, and somewhat dry. Speaking of, what’s going on with the front zipper? Did you get a bad batch where the zipper is clearly manufactured, at least mine, with it back-to-front. I took a video. What I have is a water-resistant jacket now, my sweat won’t escape but the water coming in could cold me off. Ed? Maybe my Kathmandu wool hoodie that has waterproof zippers should be the base layer now.

Nice jacket
11 December 2023

Very comfortable jacket. Sizing is extremely large, so I had to get a size down from my usual size, and could maybe have gone two sizes down. But the exchange process was easy and straightforward. The lined interior of this jacket makes it a little warmer than the average unlined rain jacket. Construction is high quality with good attention to details. Comfort and practicality are very good. Waterproofing hydrostatic head rating is quite good and better than much of the competition.

Worth the priceFits so well as a plus size 20 woman I brought this in a 3xl and it fits comfortably, & perfectly with great mobility (don't feel snug or restricted/restrained).Keeps me nice & dry, especially love the hoody that tucks away when not needed, hood fits nicely around my head and comes low enough to protect my glasses.. love it!!

Reduced functionality
24 April 2023

I have an older version. This one has at least one less pocket - the inside hidden pocket has been removed. I used to be able to slip some things inside for extra security. The place to store the hood is now VELCRO and not a zip. This means that one day, the velcro will lose its stickiness and you wont be able to store the hood anymore. At least with the zip, there is greater reliability and life.Overall a good jacket still, but can see some cost-savings in terms of functionality.

Very warm and very nice fit
10 April 2024

True to size. I'm naturally 3XL and this jacket fits perfectly. My wife and I have worn our jackets to all our local rugby league games and it can get quite cold at the stadium. This jacket is warm and a great windbreaker. Also keeps you dry through those rainy seasons. Highly recommend these andulo jackets.
