I purchased this but had to return it because it didn’t meet expectations. The bag is so flimsy that it doesn’t stay upright for loading. There are no handles to hand-carry the bag and if not full, the bag folds in half when carried over the shoulder. Backpack carry was ok. Patagonia Black Hole duffel is much better.

I had to buy one of the 35ltr duffel on clearance, as my older version was leaking. I love the new fabric (don't think I'll be able to chuck it in the wash like it's predecessor) but it can handle the southland weather, it gets used as a gym bag every day, and is cheaper than the Yeti or Patagonia equivalent

Is a very good quality bag. I gave 3 stars because it doesn’t come with a cover anymore. Will be good like old model is packed nicely in a cover. Is more compact for travelling which it is meant for. Bring along for trips to put extra shopping.

Great little duffle
18 January 2023

I brought this duffle in two colours for my teens on a 5 day trip away. Can turn it from a duffle to backpack if you need. Overall good quality. Happier still got it on sale. Held a lot more than expected and durable enough to take on plane.

Great on bag travel alternative to a backpack.

The bag is plain & simple and thats what makes it suitable for me. Nothing but the sling is attached to the outside of the bag. It did come with two slings that could be configured for a backpack style carry but that defeats the advantage of the bag as a duffle, andf the 2nd sling is a bit of a nuisance. It has multiple daisy chain loops around the edges to attach the sling straps or any other clip friendly gear. It has a small mesh zip pocket suitable for keys or such, and a big mesh zip pouch inside the lid flap. Other than that it's a top open bucket design, with loads of space. It doesn't have any structure, but I use packing cubes and it's very easy to pack and cary. I really like it because I'm tall and 1 or 2 pairs of shoes or sandles really eats up space in ... MoreThe bag is plain & simple and thats what makes it suitable for me. I really like it because I'm tall and 1 or 2 pairs of shoes or sandles really eats up space in a travel backpack. It has grab handles on all sides which makes grabbing it from the overhead bin a breeze, the sling carry isn't an issue with carry on wieghts (7-10kg) but over that it would probably be too much for carrying far. The material is pretty water resistent as well, which is a bonus. This bag is likely to replace my Osprey 40 as a one-bag carry on item.

It's not good for an extra bag.

It is a good quality bag, but it doesn’t come with a cover. The previous model was lightweight and compact, so it fits in a small pocket and is convenient to carry as an extra when traveling. I wish I had that model.

Good build quality, would recommend. Con - could make use of a quick access external pocket and internal compression straps.

Subjectively feels disapintingly cheaply made.

Lacks the luxurious padded feel of my Kamana weekender with thin material and plastic ended straps but I bought this as a wide opening carry on will reserve final jusdemen5 until after a trip. Barely feels worth the discounted price I paid.

My son recently used this as a backpack for a month long European tour. Packed in a lot of summer clothes and had no problems fitting under domestic airline seats.

The Bag is great. Unfortunately the pack straps are not incorporated seamlessly. This creates a time hassle for me to pack down and or set up when on the move at trains planes etc.
