I want to like this bag.But there is some design mistake.The small inside pockets, things keeps falling out.Be careful what you store in there. It's a very bad design.It's a love and hate relationship for me.I cannot recommend

I ended up taking this back to the store. There were so many things that just didn’t work for me. The sternum strap was way too low, straps just generally sat very strangely and the phone pocket doesn’t fit iPhones at all. Definitely wouldn’t recommend although I do love the colour

Surprised to get a review prompt for this one. I ordered the “red” one online and did click and collect. Turned up in store to find out the colour was this awful burnt orange instead and was so disappointed! I was leaving in two days for my trip, so returned it straight away and went across the way to a competitor and purchased a nicer looking bag. Really disappointed with the range and colours of late KMD, especially with your bags and thermals!

I found this backpack in store and I am pleasantly surprised. There is so much room than the 38L backpack I bought recently (but will be returning)- it definitely feels more than a 28L backpack. It has a really large opening so getting your things out and packing them will be a breeze. The colour is vibrant and I don't think it is an awful looking colour at all. The fabric of the bag feels nice and not cheap. It has a clean simplified look for those who dont like seeing clips/zippers/attachments around. It seems like the right size for someone with a small torso like me. For the price, it is a steal.
Simple, lightweight. Excellent for travel because the pickpockets can't get into 7 different pockets, there's only one which is easily secured. Great for a day walk in the bush too, comfortable and lightweight but sturdy.
I was doing a four day walk that didn’t require camping equipment, so I wanted something smaller than my usual 65Ltr pack. I was really surprised at the weight, comfort & quality of this bag. Really roomy & the wide opening too made it easy to pack. The lid pocket was a decent size that was actually handy for storing jacket, gloves & sunglasses. The dude pickers we’re super stretchy. I didn’t have to break in the pack & made minimal adjustments.What could be improved? The pole attachment just doesn’t work. It needs a longer & adjustable toggle whereas this has a useless small loop that you can barely get one pole through. I ended up separating my poles one on each side but only the right hand side had a bottom strap to keep the pole in place. I bought this pack to replace my old 26L Kathmandu pack which was falling apart from numerous single and multi day hikes over some years. This new pack is a dream. So comfortable, feels much lighter to put back on after a break, lifts out from my back to allow airflow, looks great, fits a lot without feeling too heavy. All in all, a terrific buy. I tried in four other packs at other stores, but this felt comfortable from the first moment so I was willing to pay more to get it as I knew it would get a great deal of use for all the ten day and many other shorter hikes I have coming up in this next year.
I bought this few weeks ago but haven’t had chance to use it as I’ve been recovering from shoulder surgery - this was going to be a real test!Well, finally got to load it up and set off on a 20k mountain walk in Snowdonia in North Wales, and I really can’t give this sack any more praise than to say that it was supremely comfortable and I completely forgot any fears I had that my shoulder might be an issue.Everything about the sack ticked all my boxes, the waist belt in particular warrants a special mention as it practically caresses the hips making the sack carry beautifully. Well thought out pockets, an effective compression system, quality and great looks complete the package.I would definitely recommend this sack.
comfortable backpack. No pockets on outside or inside. The kathmandu rain cover did not fit/stay on, and as it was raining my pack was wet for days. Another person on my hike had one ( a blue one) and had same thoughts as me. She even tried to put glad wrap all over hers tp prevent it from getting wet!!
yes mobile holder on strap has the odd design and is not best for secure holding but whole bag is very light and packable. when it is full price it may not the best option but when goes on sale worth every penny. I like the bright orangish colour and ring shape zipper. it has only one compartment, no separation. if it has 2 I would gave it 5 star
