We bought the black one and fortunately found that it was the base that had broken of our previous one so have replaced just the base and can still use the red kettle in the kitchen

Great design - it catches the sunlight in the kitchen to give pretty patterns on the wall - a simple pleasure!! Works well, boiling water very quickly, it would seem. Easy to grip handle and no spills on pouring - love it!

Pros: Love the design.Cons: Despite loving the kettle, I have had to order a 2nd one a few years later as the original kettle turned yellow and had hard water stains on it. I tried to clean it with kettle descaler which too all the shine and also to my astonishment, the pattern off the kettle's surface. The toaster is still white but I am very disappointed that the kettle started to turn yellow before I attempted to clean it. Maybe your company could address this problem?

Pros: Attractive design. Great pouring spout; doesn’t spill! Handle is comfortable and feels sturdy, even at full capacity. Boiling time , quick & quiet. Fill via pull off lid. Good capacity range.Cons: Fill up via pull off lid. Not a problem for me but some might prefer a flip up lid.
I have chosen this product again to replace the identical one that broke after many years service ( and the many times it would have boiled dry had the safety cut out not worked) I feel it gave very good service. Delighted with this model very quick boil.
Bought this kettle as it was a few pounds cheaper than the other identical kettles but failed to notice that I was buying a reconditioned one. Would not have knowingly done this. It looks very nice but came without it's box and guarantee. My first complaint was the length of time it takes to boil. This was my main reason for replacing my existing kettle. It is very slow. Also noticed inside that although there was no limescale, it did in fact have a stain that looked like an historical limescale stain. Looks nice and it's my fault for not fully reading the description but I think it should have been clearer. Arrived very quickly and I cannot make up my mind whether it's good value. I'll see how long it lasts if the boiling time doesn't frustrate too much. I bought this kettle to replace exactly the same model, I had the previous one a good few years and there was linescale and water marks on the outside, so I wanted the same thing as I like it so much, now it’s all shiny and new.
