The lens cap does not fit securely. After placing it on, it falls off easily if touched at all. If I use this cap I imagine it will fall off while in the case.

I bought it for my used Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens. I bought it without the front lens cover, which I was not aware when I bought it. My fault as it was indicated in the photo when I looked again. The price for genuine replacement part it not so much compare to third-party product. I will know it will fit without issue.

I do a lot of sky photography as well as macro, and this saved me hundreds of dollars by solving both of these by not having to get two full-sized extra lenses, and is also much easier to carry around, and very solidly made as well.
